11    Peter Stretch Tall Clock, 8 day brass works, signed on the lower edge of the brass dial, "Peter Stretch, Philadelphia," time, strike & calendar movement, walnut case with old finish and a bulls eye window, fine condition overall. Peter Stretch was the second fully corroborated clock maker in Philadelphia in 1702, 92 1/2" tall. Provenance: A Hershey, PA collector, Pook & Pook Auctioneers, exhibited at the "Lancaster County Tall Clocks", March 1993, # 4.

12    Charles Townsend Tall Clock, 8 day brass time & strike works with moon phase painted iron dial, calendar & seconds smaller dials and signed on the face, "Charles Townsend, Philadelphia, (1799-1804), mahogany case with broken arch bonnet, base missing, 95" tall, appears to be in working condition. Provenance: A Hershey, PA collection.

13    Jacob Gorgas Jr. Tall Clock, 8 day brass works with time strike and calendar movement, signed on the painted iron dial, "Jacob Gorgas, Hinkletown," walnut case with broken arch bonnet and ogee feet, 95 1/2" tall, ca. 1800, appears to be in fine working condition.  Provenance: A Hershey, PA collection, exhibited at the Hershey Museum, "Lancaster County Tall Clocks", March 1993 #9.

21    Chinese Jade Sensor, pierced  cover with melon shaped finial above bowl form body and elaborately carved dragon/dog handles supported by 4 shield shaped feet, overall elaborately carved, light green to dark green/brown color, 6" tall x 9" wide. 39    French Charger Marked Jules Vieillard, depicting a young woman, beautifully framed with velvet cloth set in an ornate gold leaf gessoed frame. Charger measures 16 1/4" in diameter, mid 1800's. Jules Vieillard was the technical director of the David Johnston & Co. porcelain factory, Jules purchased the business from him and manufactured porcelain in Bordeaux France from 1845-1868, (see mark on verso). Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

42    Steinway & Sons Grand Piano, Baby Grand, "M" #269564, clearly marked made in 1929, fully reconditioned just prior to the consignor purchasing, (approximately 10 years ago); black finish, 65" long x 56" wide, plays beautifully, comes with original piano bench. Provenance: A Lyndborough, NH collection from "Rourke Piano Restorations", Massachusetts.

51    British Foreign Bible Society Chinese Bible, "Imperial Edition printed from the same type as the presentation copy to the Empress Dowager," inscribed: "Presented by the committee to the Right Reverend William Wharton, Cassels, D.D., Lord Bishop of Western China, in recognition of valuable service rendered to the Society in China," signed by Caleb R. N...? Chairman of the committee, John Sharp etc. secretaries, The Bible House 146, Queen Victoria St., London, 25th November 1895," in beautiful condition. Provenance: A Manchester, NH collection, descended in his family from when he lived in China prior to WW II.

61    Frederic A. Heisely Brass Surveyor's Transit, Harrisburg, PA, worked from 1798-1840, known as a clock and surveyors instrument maker, signed on the silver dial, "F.A. Heisely, Harrisburg," comes with original brass cover, wooden case, tripod and a set of measuring chain. Provenance: A  Hershey, PA, clock collector.

62    "Dollond" Made Celestial Telescope; brass construction telescope with adjustable focusing lens and side mounted sighting scope. Marked on the end "Dollond, London #8237," marked on the sighting scope, "Tel. SCT. REGTS. MK Ibis, Broadhurst Clarkson & Co. LTD 1940." Comes with the original swivel brass & wood tripod stand. In working condition, 48" L scope closed, 70" tall approximate height on stand. Provenance: A Hershey, PA clock collector.
