3. Needlework Purse, a fold over fringed top and woven handle, all sides stitched like a sampler showing a colonial house on the back and various geometric designs, signed on the side under the top flap, “M Strong A 1847,” some losses, 8 1/4" x 11" x 2 1/4". Provenance: Descended in a Vermont/New Hampshire family.

5. Three Tier Wire Chandelier, 16 arms ending in tin candle cups, 2 bulbous forms on center shaft, 19th century. Provenance: Roger Bacon collection.

6. 1784 American Sampler, a vine and floral border surrounding 6 sayings, other floral and vine work, signed below, “Esther Wayne October the 18, 1784,” 20 1/4" x 16 1/4" sight, framed under glass. Probably from the Pennsylvania area. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

6A. 1834 Pennsylvania Sampler, vine and flower border surrounding birds, deer, chickens, a basket of fruit, and a house, “Mary Stote, age 10, 1834,” 13 1/4" x 17 3/4", sight, framed under glass. Provenance: A New Hampshire/ Delaware collection.

13. “Tammany” Mechanical Bank, gentleman in a yellow vest seated in a chair, his right arm moves towards his belly to deposit the coin and the head nods forward. The paint is original with small chips, marked on both sides “Tammany Bank,” 6" tall. Provenance: A New Ipswich estate.

17. Levi & Abel Hutchins Tall Clock, maple case scrolled top and carved rosettes, (missing finials), silver brass dial signed in the arched top, “Levi & Abel Hutchins, Concord,” time/strike and calendar, old refinished case with replaced base, 87 1/2" tall, appears to have original weights and pendulum. Provenance: Jaffrey, N.H. collection.

Walnut Veneered English Chippendale Mirror, gilded pierced and carved phoenix bird crest over a mold edge with gilded liner, scalloped base, a rare size, 26" tall x 28" wide, the back has an early 19th century newspaper “The Antigallican Monitor” pages attached to the back boards, old refinish & re gilding.  Provenance: A Jackson NH. collection.

Florentine Style Italian “Cofanetto” dome top wooden cask, carved and painted with Florentine Renaissance scenes and crests, top & front side open, inside top leather intricately decorated in gold with dragons & vines in the “Florentine” style, 20 1/4" long x 13" tall x 11 1/2" deep, 19th century. Provenance: A Southern collection.

Three Piece Bronze Clock Garniture Set, a center ball form clock with Roman numerals, upheld by 3 putti set on a plum color marble base, embellished with applied bronze swags flanked by a pair of floral form candelabra and upheld by a single putti set on a similar base, probably early 20th century French. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

163. Chippendale Style Mirror, a mahogany veneered frame, embellished with gold molded plaster decoration, an eagle finial, 37" tall x 18" wide, 20th century. Provenance: A Jackson, NH collection.

164A. Quarter Plate Ambrotype Of Civil War Confederate, “Capt. Julius Mills” of Chester, South Carolina. The un-tinted ambrotype image is clear and clean, mounted in its original leather trimmed case, 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" wide, missing its cover. A later albumin photograph by “Tennies, Columbia, S.C.,” is included and is inscribed in pencil on verso, with some of Capt. Mills’ service history with the “Company F. 23 S.C.V., Oct. 8th, 1864.” Lot also includes a typed “Extract From My Life In the Civil War,” by Lyman A. Baker and assorted family lineage notes. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.
