15   Running Horse Weathervane, with a full body, cast zinc head & mold sheet tin tail, original gilded surface, 30" long x 18" tall, some denting on one side, 19th century, possibly the shop of "Al Jewel, Waltham, MA (1852-1867)," see "The Art of the Weathervane," (Exton, PA 1984), page 26 for a similar example. 16   Sailor's Valentine, folding 8 sided mahogany case with glass enclosed sea shell heart on one side and photo surrounded by sea shells on the other, each 9" wide, Barbados or neighboring islands, 19th c. trade, family history available to purchaser. 35    Seth Thomas Brass Ship's Clock, round dial with key hole for time and strike, second hand dial, 7" diameter, mounted on a modern wooden plaque with the key, appears to be in working condition. Provenance: A Peterborough , NH estate who had been on the USS Lansdowne, DD-486.
41   Gilded baroque Mirror, heavily carved with pierced crown adorned head supported by multiple leaf grape, putti and animal carved sides supported by a later flat base, appears to be Spanish or Italian, 17/18th century, some restoration to the surface, 65" tall x 40" wide. Provenance: A Dublin , NH estate. Estimate $1,000-1,500
52   Stack of Pantry Boxes: A - 15 1/2" diameter mustard painted with cut nail lapped joint, marked, "Empty Bottles," on one side. B - 4-fingers, 11 1/2" diameter unfinished box, 6 3/4" tall, ash and pine. C - 11 1/2" diameter box, branded, "JH Hardshorn," on the top, cut nail lapped joint, as is. 60         Pair of "Tiffany & Co." Standing Lamps, hammered wrought iron adjustable electric lighting devices, "L" shaped arm which can move up & down with a knob set screw. Supported by 3 arched legs, dark green surface, marked on the bottom of one toe," Tiffany & Co. 13562," 54" tall closed down, no shades. Provenance: A Dublin, NH estate collection. 61         Christophe Fratin, 1800-1864, France, candlestick bronze casting of 2 circus bears performing a balancing act, signed on the base, "FRATIN," 15" tall, 2 newer screws have been added under the base to hold the bottom bears feet to the base, 19th c., old patina. Provenance: A Peterborough, NH collection. Estimate $800-1,200

62         Swiss Music Box rectangular case with floral inlaid lid containing a 6 tune musical works (song title list on lid missing), 19 1/4" long x 8 1/4" deep, appears to be in good working condition with no teeth broken, late 19/20th century. 63         Pair of Brass Candlesticks, circular bases with spring loaded shafts fitted with blown glass vase form shades having a blue rim and copper wheel etched floral decoration, 20 1/4" tall, probably Indian or Eastern European, late 19th c, some denting, unknown signature on the edge of the base. Provenance: A Harrisville, NH collection. Estimate $300-500
64         Brass Kerosene Cherub Lamp, round milk glass shade with 4 molded cherubs faces, set on a cast brass pierced ball font with removable tank supported by a kneeling cherub holding a ball, electrified, marked on the wick adjuster knob. "Made in the USA", 33 1/2" tall not including the glass chimney. Provenance: A peterborough, NH collection. Estimate $500-1,000

81         Ship Model "Annie C", hand constructed "Top Sail" fishing boat, fully rigged and in good condition, ca. 1920, 27 1/2" long x 21 1/2" all including the base. Provenance: A Massachusetts collection. Estimate $300-500

82         "Mills Novelty Co, 25c Slot Machine, #277073, "Wolf" decoration, probably made in 1931-32, in fine working condition, has original back with attached paper directions and associated key. Provenance: A southern NH estate collection, purchased by his father when the now "21" Club in N.Y.C. closed during the Prohibition. Estimate $3,000-5,000

86         French Gilded Mirror, arched crest with a pierced carving of a basket of fruit supported by pierced and scroll sides over a leaf adorned base, 18/19th century, 40 1/2" tall, in good overall condition with 2 cracks in the crest. Provenance: A southern, NH collection. Estimate $600-1,000

87         Sicilian Knight in Armor Rod Puppet String Marionette, aprox. 36" long, 18/19th century, carved & painted wood with tin armor, original clothing in worn condition. Provenance: A Grantham, NH estate. Estimate $200-300

141       Chinese/Japanese Ivory Carving and Jade Decoration: A -carved ivory religious figure 2 1/2" tall with character signature on bottom & marked Japan. 167    James Monroe 1817 Peace medal, "Mahogany Finished," bronze/copper, 3" diameter. Obverse by Moritz Furst (signed Furst. F). Bust of Monroe right, reverse with clasped hands, pipe, tomahawk, peace & friendship under clasped finger pointing hands, marked with 8-zeroes above the word Friendship. Hole drilled to wear as necklace with 14 long yellow glass donut shaped Native American beads, some dings & worn areas, ca. 1830. Provenance: A southern NH collection. Estimate $400-700

214       "Ames Manufacturing Co.," Civil War Sword, staff & field officer sword, (no scabbard), blade engraved with double sided scroll decoration, "US" and "Pluribus Unum," No. 107 and stamped, "Ames Manufacturing Co." the hilt has a brass "US" guard and wire wrapped grip, the blade 16 1/4" long and logically shorter then a long time ago.
