22. Chinese Ancient Bronze Bell, cast in an oval shape with handle (top missing), decorated with a raised relief of 2 sayings, 4 groups of 9 prickets & floral designs, 13 1/2” T by 8 1/2” W at base, clapper missing with an old surface. Provenance: A NH collection.

Chinese Rose Canton Vase, round lipped rim with interior & exterior decoration over a bulbous shaped body decorated with 2 bands of an interior scene with people, set on a flaring base, 10” D. top by 15 1/2” T; good quality & condition, with gold accents, 19th c. Chinese Blue & White Flower Holder, a rare form with central tall bulbous neck set on shaped base with 5 stem openings, all set on 6 round feet at the base; bird & bush decoration, 10” T by 8 1/2” W at the middle, 18/19th century Chinese, some edge glaze chipping. Chinese Export Rose Medallion Nest Of Three Oval Platters With Original Receipt, 10 1/4”, 11 1/2” & 13 1/2” each on length, with the original import bill from Hong Kong of September 1882, to Charles E. Hill of New York & the shipping bill from Josiah H. Drummond in May, 1883. Provenance: A NH collection.

Chinese Export Rose Medallion Compote And Four Soups, raised compote, 9 1/4” D by 4” T, scalloped edges with 4 panels of bird/butterfly & flowers surrounding a central floral medallion, the 4 soups with the same design, 9 1/2” D, includes a photo copy of the original receipts noted in lot 54 & dated 1882/83.
