Chinese Silver Compact, 3 1/2" oval case with a pierced carved ivory insert depicting a woman standing near a white crane, she is brightly painted and the carved background is missing a few pieces of the lattice work, marked inside the cover, "Silver, China." Appears to be early 20th century, the case edges and back are engraved with floral designs. Estimate $250-400
