Lot 180: Two Yaka figures

The first kneeling with hands to chin in classical gesture, around the waist a fetish packet with sticks and other materials. Fine surface with remains of variegated patinas. The second with high coif and one hand to the chest, the belly swollen and legs slightly bent. Fine surface. Each on a custom base. Authenticated by Dr. Arthur P. Bourgeois - World authority on Yaka and Suku.
