Lot 206: A Kuba Bwoom helmet mask

Of classical form, the mask with copper sheeting applied to the entire face with beaded decorations in a characteristic trident form, as well as around the eyes, nose and encircling the mouth. Cowrie shells applied to the sides with beaded panel to reverse. Well worn and patinated. On a custom base.
