Charles P. Appel (1857-1928), New Jersey, oil on canvas painting of a twilight landscape with flock of sheep and sheppard, signed lower left "C.P.Appel", 20" x 24", old molded gessoed frame, appears painting was re-stretched on a newer stretcher due to being slightly reduced in size.
