Polearm or Halberd Weapon, medieval style with a long spike end, a double sided blades of wrought iron which is then attached to a molded tapered wooden handle, the metal top section has long fingers which are nailed through into the shaft, 8' 4"L overall, appears to be 18th/19thC or earlier, probably Continental/English.
