Elliott Daingerfield, NY, N Carolina (1859-1932), oil on canvas western mountain scene titled on the brass plaque attached "Morning on the Mountain", signed lower center "Elliott Daingerfield", 20" X 24", later old gilded frame, canvas wax lined sometime between 1950-65 with a repair in the right sky area, lineage of the painting can be traced back to an auction in the early 1903-05 in NY, a letter is available showing where the painting has been from then until now.
