Magic Lantern slides- Landscape including over 200 colored slides specific to Nova Scotia, approx. 422. Black and white with some handcoloring double pane glass slides with paper edging, measure approx. 3 1/4" x 4". In mostly good condition with signs of age and wear, some slides have lost paper edging and are separated or cracked. Many apparently from the studio of Alton Blackington, a Boston newspaper photographer, notable for his coverage of fires, Charles Lindberg, and President Calving Coolidge.
