Black and white photographic print mounted on board, 10" x 14". Keene, NH based photographer, Gene Cugnet (1884-1962). With pasted paper caption reading "New York's Financial District, 2 a.m.m after the great crash of Tuesday October 29, 1929". Intersection of Broadway and Whitehall, Bowling Green. On reverse, a partially deficient Western Union telegram from August 22, 1929, seemingly warning the recipient of drastic changes on the horizon. Framed.
