British 1827 Pattern Naval Officer's Sword. Blade etched with anchor, royal coat of arms and scroll decoration. Half basket brass gilt guard has lion head pommel and raised crowned anchor. Left part of guard folds up to avoid wear on clothing. White sharkskin covers grip. Ca: 1830. No scabbard. Blade Ln: 31. Loa: 37".
