Date markings on barrel are: XR indicating a manufacture date of December 1968. Excellent mirror bright bore. Barrel and receiver blue is 95%. Stock varnish about 85% with some light scratches on the left stock face and a light ding and several miniscule scratches on the right side of the stock. Front sight and rear sight ramp are present with the rear sight removed to make clearance for the scope. Scope has just very slight wear with excellent optics and fine crosshairs. Comes with leather military type sling and 89 rounds of ammunition. Rifle has seen very little use.
