Benjamin Champney, Mass./ NH (1817-1907) Oil on canvas painting of a mountain scene with a lake in the foreground, 22" x 38", good old period frame with a few losses, signed lower right, "B. Champney", the scene is unknown to us but the foreground appears to be New England and possibly the white or other mountains. Provenance: Private NH Collection.
