Bluey Ilkirr, Aboriginal Australian Bark Painting. Gunbalanya (Oenpelli), Liverpool River, Western Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Mid 20th Century. Eucalyptus bark with stretching sticks attached to two sides. Depicting a speared kangaroo and ''Mimi Spirit'. With two old collection labels to the reverse with ethnnographic details and artist attribution, consistant with pieces in the National Gallery collection. 16 1/4" x 21 1/2"
