39 French Charger Marked Jules Vieillard, depicting a
young woman, beautifully framed with velvet cloth set in an ornate
gold leaf gessoed frame. Charger measures 16 1/4" in diameter, mid
1800's. Jules Vieillard was the technical director of the David
Johnston & Co. porcelain factory, Jules purchased the business from
him and manufactured porcelain in Bordeaux France from 1845-1868,
(see mark on verso). Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

40 Sevres Terra Cotta Statue, late 19th c., classical
style of maidens and putti with a putto eating grapes, "Sevres" mark
on bottom with makers mark, "M", 19" tall x 9" wide, some losses
with crack on putto leg & repair to the other one. Provenance: A
Massachusetts collection.

55 Pair Blue & White Chinese Rice Bowls, dark blue
decoration set on raised foot ring, labeled on bottom by retailer, 4
1/2" diameter, probably late Ming, 17th c. Chinese, comes with a
fitted silk box. Provenance: A Manchester, NH collection, came from
a sunken cargo that was sold in large lots one of which was
purchased by the retailer noted on the bottom of the bowls.
