1        5 Russian Labor Registration Cards. Each about 6" by 8" with photo and fingerprints of workers, all dates from 1942.  District Administrator/Braunau am Inn stamps.  All but 1 worker wearing large white & blue "OST" patch on jackets. Names included Alexander Lewych, Hrechori Iwanowixz Kislich, Michail Kobilew, Andreas Schelnowatsch, and Nikolaij Kolosok. Estimate $400 to $600
2        5 Fragebogen Nazi-generated medical personnel questionnaires.  Each titled "Fragebogen zur erstmaligen Meldung der Heilberufe" (questionnaire for initial entrance to the medical profession), 4 page documents with photos in both Polish and German and all marked "Jude".  All data on these entered in type and signed.  Includes Fragebogen for the following Polish individuals A) Lui Jofe B) Srul-Majre Brzxtwa C) Azrijel Herskowicz D) Josef Jozefowicz E) Jakub Manski.  Estimate $700 to $900.
15      Lot of Dr. Joseph Goebbels stationary, cards, and writing paper. 18 pieces Includes 3 postcards and studio photograph of him,  calling cards from him and his wife, letterhead and stationary, 2 party invitation cards (Reichsminister Dr. Goebbels und Frau Goebbels, embossed eagle and swastika,  script style lettering and “Der Reichsminister für Volksaufklarung und Propaganda und Frau Goebbels”.  Unused.  Roman style lettering. ) birth, engagement and wedding congratulations cards.  All in good to excellent condition. 18      Albert Speer Documents, Nuremberg trial.  Includes A) Original Draft of Speers Declaration at Nuremberg.  Bound black document case titled "Opening Declaration of Albert Speer Before The International Military Tribunal, Nuremberg, Nov, 21, 1945 - Original Draft".  Set consists of:  1. Original draft of Speer's answer to the charges (2 pages) typewritten with his signature and corrections and notes.  2.  2 copies of the final draft (typewritten). 3) Translations  B) 2 typed letters written by Speer to the consignor (David Cheney) both from the 70's and signed by Speer regarding research questions posed by Mr. Cheney who later opened the Museum "Crossing the Wire".  Estimate $2500 to $5000
26      101st Airborne / 506th PIR lot.  Large lot that belonged to Charles Dix a member of the 506th Parachute Infantry of the United States.  Includes promotion document for Dix, a 506th PIR vehicle I.D tag (metal plate), 2 booklets on the 101st Airborne Division, 1942 Parachute training manual, personal photographs, Christmas card-101st & 506th insignia, Christmas dance announcement 1944, Army pass/railway ticket England, PIR booklets and miscellaneous articles, personal certificates, Maps of France where he marked personal notes about locations on the map and newspaper clippings.  Together in large binder.  Estimate $500 to $750
31      Waffen SS Paper lot.  Includes: A) recruiting leaflet "Nous Sommes Des Traitres" French language. 6" by 9" showing Wallonie divisional pennant on barrel of gun with text on reverse.  AFPA 3761 in lower left corner.  B) 4 small original black and white photographs 3 of which depict Waffen SS personnel.  C) 2 period postcards depicting SS soldiers (one titled "Melde Dich Freiwillig Zur Waffen-SS".  Estimate $75 to $125
40      German occupied documents and posters and German map of Litzmannstadt.  6 Pieces.  Includes A) Notice that warns Polish citizens to obey German occupation troops and refrain from sabotage, strikes and resistance.  In German and Polish. 16" x23", red, white and black with eagle and swastika.   Rare occupation poster and fragile. B) Bekanntmachung (Public Notice) - (Turn In Firearms) Informs Ukrainian civilian population to turn in all firearms and weapons under the penalty of death.  Printed in German, Ukrainian and Russian.  Large, black, eagle & swastika at top of poster. 16.25" x11.5", brown with black printing. Stored and remains folded C)  In Ukrainian language only.  Supposedly regulations for wear of yellow Jewish star, etc.  8.25" x11.5", light brown with black printing.  Needs translation. Stored and remains folded. D) Blue and white public notice document from the Hague with instructions for Jews to register with the police that comes with a second document (1 page Jewish registration form filled out by a Jacob David Perlberg).  Dated 6 March 1941.  Dutch language.  Very rare. Both the notice and form are titled "Anmeldingsformulier voor een persoon" E) Bekanntmachung that warns Polish town officials that they will answer with their lives for resistance activity in their areas.  In German and Polish. Rare occupation poster and fragile.12"x 18", red, white and black with eagle & swastika. Stored and remains folded F) "Plan von Litzmannstadt" German map of Litzmannstadt (Lodz, Poland).  Shows ghetto area.  Germans renamed all streets in the city and assigned letters and numbers to the ghetto area.  27" by 37".   Estimate $700 to $1000  
42      6 Fragebogen Nazi-generated medical personnel questionnaires.  Each titled "Fragebogen zur erstmaligen Meldung der Heilberufe" (questionnaire for initial entrance to the medical profession), 4 page documents with photos.  5 in German, Polish and Russian and the 6th in just German and Polish.  Includes framed forms that were part of the consignors museum display for a Dr. Israel Engelberg.  This is an example of a duplicate of an identical one with an X thru it and his date of death written in as 5 May 1942.  This form has an Auschwitz record entry stamp of 3 Dec. 1942, 7 months after he died at Auschwitz.  The 4 others include 2 women and 2 men whose names are illegible (one of them also with a date of death on the top as well.  Estimate $800 to $1000
53      2 documents related to proof of ancestry.  A) "Prüfungsergebnis, Gau Wien" racial certificate.  Blue background with Eagle and Swastika.  B) Postcard from Reichskulturkammer Stuttgart addressed to a Jakob Müller.  Typewritten. Translates to:  “Since the Proof of Aryan Ancestry must be produced in duplicate, I ask you to fill out the enclosed form.  Furthermore, I request the specific affidavit showing the baptismal date of your grandmother on your fathers side”.  Dated January 10th 1936. Estimate $75 to $100
54      2  Nazi Transport Documents for Prisoner Conveyance.  Includes A) "Transportzettel für die Gefangenen-Beförderung"     (Transport Document for Prisoner Conveyance) 4 page document.  Prisoner was named "Timirbeckow"(?) and transported from Giessen to Frankfurt a/m and the Gestapo prison. Dated June 4th 1943.  In good condition  B) "Transportzettel für die Gefangenen-Beförderung" (Transport Document for Prisoner Conveyance) 4 page document. Prisoner was named Louise Voss(?).  Transported from Limburg to Frankfurt a/m and the Gestapo prison. Dated June 15th 1943.  In very good condition.  Estimate $200 to $400
54A   Jewish property tax bill and notification..  Near top of document "Bescheid über die Judenvermögensabgabe" (Information Regarding The Jewish Personal Property Tax) from the German Government - Issued Out Of Magdeburg and dated February 6th 1939.  Very rare document informing a Jewish resident of Magdeburg of the amount of tax due the State in payment for "damages" on the night of 9 Nov. 1938 "Kristallnacht" when Nazis looted and burned Jewish property, businesses and synagogues and later blamed the Jews.
54B    Notice of evacuation / resettlement.  Small notification ticket (Delivery Ticket) for evacuation or "resettlement" to the East for Valerie Pick (born 6 Aug 1876) who died in the Lodz Ghetto on February 17th 1942.  Comes with envelope stating that "she has already been evacuated" (and to return to sender).  Consignor obtained information on Valerie from the Theresienstadt Martyrs Remembrance Association which is included.  Estimate $200 to $400

55      3 letters from doctors at Buchenwald concentration camp.  A) Invoice (Rechnung) for the Camp doctor of Concentration Camp Buchenwald dated November 14th 1940 that lists deliveries & prices of medical equipment from 30 July 1940 to 2 Oct. 1940 delivered to Buchenwald KL.  Items include hollow chisel forceps or tongs, bone splinter tongs, cuticle forceps, etc.  Detailed translation included.  B) Medical equipment order from Buchenwald addressed to "An das Bakteriolgische Institut, Jena" dated October 17th 1938.  More a purchase order for 50 blood bags than a letter.  Initialed by or for the then camp doctor, SS officer, Dr. Erwin Ding-Schuler(?). Letter is half page size with 2 binder holes C) To "Firma Walter Füllenbach, Jena" from Buchenwald camp doctor dates February 14th 1941. Requests a urethra catheter with optic from the Füllenbach firm in Jena.  Initials believed to be camp doctor, SS Untersturmführer (2nd Lt.) Dr. Wagner.  Letter is half page size with 2 binder holes.   Estimate $ $250 to $500

56      Documents from a US family with 2 members who were prisoners of war.    Collection from the Mauri Family of Saint Louis  who had a son Robert who was in the US army serving in Europe In 1944 and became a prisoner of war  and a nephew Wilhelm Mauri who was a private first class in the German Army and later a prisoner of war in the German POW camp at camp Polk Louisiana.  Documents for Robert include a US draft notice,  4 letters from him to his family including 3 "V Mail" letters with miniature envelopes, Letter from the US War Dept with envelope to Katherine Mauri (wife of Robert) informing her of his death after he had been previously been reported missing in action but information provided by the Red Cross stated that he had actually been a prisoner of war and died as a result of an illness, and finally a Notice of life insurance settlement from the VA for Robert's beneficiary (appears to be his father).  Also includes a letter from the German nephew "Willi" (Roberts’s cousin) to his aunt and uncle asking for a suitcase.    Estimate $500 to $700
57      2 Mauthausen concentration camp prisoner death notice's.  A) Death certificate dated March 1940 which states that Job Metz, a 41 year old Jewish prisoner died in Mauthausen of "chronic illness and a heart attack" Prisoners working in registration offices made up reasons for deaths and this was a commonly used fabrication.    B) Small form letter notifying wife of KZ prisoner that he died of a lung infection.  Body was cremated.  Letter states certificate of death available for 72 pfennigs.  Signed by an SS-Untersturmführer.  Lung disease was another common reason listed as cause of death. Individual's name is illegible.  Estimate  $500 to $750
58      Concentration camp and Ghetto currency, paper money.    Includes: A) Buchenwald "Standort-Kantine" 2RM note marked "Wertmarke 15473" in good condition.  B) 4 pieces from Flossenburg Camp. 3 blue paper notes, 1 brown paper note.  All valued at 1 Mark.  Waffen-SS marked.  C) 4 pieces of Littzmannstadt (Lodz) Ghetto money dated May 15th 1940 in uncirculated condition. All were for use within Lodz Ghetto and represent receipts (Quittung) for German currency.  2 - 20 Mark (#239708 & 238480), 1 - 1 Mark (#366813), 1 - 50 Pfennig (#862310).  These were known as "Rumskies". D) 7 pieces for use within Theresienstadt Ghetto and representing receipts (Quittung) for Czech currency. 1 each of the following: 1 Krone, 2 Kronen, 5 Kronen, 10 Kronen, 20 Kronen, 50 Kronen, 100 Kronen. All are unissued.   Estimate $500 to $700

70      Lot of 5 Identity papers"Anmeldung zur polizeilichen Einwohnererfassung".  Each with fingerprint stamp and identifying information and statement on reverse warning papers should be carried on individuals at all time and false information will be punished.  One marked "Jude". Each in both German and Polish with Nazi SS stamps, in fair to very good condition.  Estimate $200 to $300

71      Lot of 3 foreign workers papers and workbooks. Includes: A) Dated 1943 "Arbeitsbuch Für Ausländer" (Foreign Work Book) for a French foreign worker named Rene Bouvier.  38 pages.  Green cover. Very good condition  B) Dated 1943 "Arbeitsbuch Für Ausländer" (Foreign Work Book) for a Ukrainian foreign worker(name illegible) with photograph of the woman inside.  38 pages.  Green cover in excellent condition. C) Work papers (Arbeitskarte) for a female worker from the Kiev area of the Ukraine.  Tamara Denisowa, d.o.b. 9 Aug. 1925.  Worked for a wagon maker in Ebingen, Germany.  Has photo and 2 fingerprints of young female worker.  Estimate $100 to $150

72      Two SS enlistment or service contracts signed by Himmler. A) SS-Hauptsturmführer Horst Bender, February 24th 1937, signed by Himmler and Bender and stamped "63185" in upper right corner.  B) SS Untersturmführer Alois Steinkogler, November 12th 1937.  Hand signed by Heinrich Himmler and Steinkogler.  Estimate $1500 to $2000

81      5 Waffen-SS Letters Dealing With Dr. Franz Riedweg.  Riedweg was head of the SS Germanic office and was Field Marshal von Blomberg's son-in-law.  1.  Letter signed by SS Col. Felix Steiner dated 20 Sept. 1938.  2.  Letter dated 30 September 1938 signed by Himmler to Schmitt discussing his unwillingness to dismiss Dr. Riedweg based on his Swiss descent.  3.  letter dated November 15th 1938 from the office of the SS SD headed by Major Heydrich authorizing the contents of a Swiss Newspaper article to be added to the personal file of Riedweg.  Signed by an SS 2nd Lieutenant on Hyedrich's staff. 4. Letter dated May 20th 1941 from Gottlob Berger (Chef des SS Hauptamtes/Legal department of the SS) signed by Berger regarding Riedweg (translation unavailable).  5. Letter dated June 21st 1944 from Werner Grothmann to Riedweg discussing his placement as a doctor within a front line unit.  Estimate $1750 to $2300



82      SS/Police order signed by Himmler.  Document dated August 11th 1943 and signed by Himmler referencing a judgment against a police inspector Edgar Khunel.  Very good condition.  Estimate $500 to $800
83      Letter From Heinrich Himmler to Buch.  1/2 page stationary with "Der Reichsführer-SS" printed in upper left corner.  Deals with photocopies from a racial investigator, Dr. Ludwig Claus, concerning a Frau Sigrid von Perbant.  Hand signed by Himmler.   Translation available.  Estimate $600 to $900.
84      2 SS documents, one signed by Himmler.  A) SS promotion document for  Dr. Franz Hayler & Hans Röper signed by Heinrich Himmler dated March 28th 1935  B) 1937 Personnel report on SS officer Alois Beck.  Hand signed twice by Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski, Himmler's chief of partisan warfare.  SS Oberabschnitt Südost stamps.   Estimate $800 to $1000
91      Letter from Josef Dietrich to Himmler.  Letter from SS-Gruppenführer "Sepp" Dietrich  to RF-SS  H. Himmler dated April 10th 1934. Hand signed in pencil by Dietrich (SS-Gruppenführer). Promotion recommendation for SS-Obersturmbannführer named Jeppe who is "one of Berlin's oldest SS men".  Translation available.  Estimate $300 to $500

92      SS Leaders questionnaire for Artur Greiser.  SS Führer-Fragebogen (Leaders Questionnaire) for SS Lt. General Artur Greiser. Undated mid 1930's. Greiser was President of the Danzig Senate until 1939 and Gauleiter of Warthegau (area of Lodz Ghetto).  Convicted of war crimes and hung at Posen, 20 June 1946.  Hand signed by Greiser and SS General Werner Lorenz.  Single page.  Lists service record, personal and party information.  Estimate $500 to $700

93      Letter From Friedrich Jeckeln to  Himmler.  Dated September 3rd 1935. From SS-Gruppenführer Friedrich Jeckeln To RF-SS Himmler.  Addressed to SS Court in Munich.  Hand signed by Jeckeln.  Subject:  SS men drinking on duty.  Marked "Geheim" (secret).  Jeckeln was an SS-Einsatzgruppe leader and High SS & Police leader for Northern Russia. Estimate $700 to $900.

94      5 documents related to  SS Lt. General Odilio Globocnik.  A) SS order dated September 14th 1943 removing Globocnik from his command in Lublin, Poland and assigning him to be the Higher SS and Police Chief in the operational  zone of the Adriatic Coast area.  Hand signed signature by SS Lt. Col. Brandt. B) Letter from SS-General Karl Wolff To SS-General Odilo Globocnik dated July 20th 1939.  Wolff thanks Globocnik for his letter and medical records, etc. sent prior to Globocnik's appointment as SS leader in Lublin.  Hand signed by Wolff. C) Letter from From SS-Lt .General Odilo Globocnik To SS- Gen. Kurt Daluege dated January 16th 1943. Letter thanks Daluege for a Christmas gift and for information or a report.  Letter written 2 days after Himmler's visit.  Hand signed by Globocnik.  Blue pencil possibly Daluege handwriting. D)  Letter from from SS-Lt .General Odilo Globocnik To SS- Gen. Kurt Daluege dated April 23rd 1943.  Typewritten letter hand signed by Globocnik.  Letter is a thank you to Daluege for his thoughtful birthday wishes. E)   Letter from SS-Major General Odilo Globocnik To SS-Lt. Col. Brandt dated August 10th 1942.  Letter deals with an error in getting a report to Himmler and asks for apologies to be passed on to Himmler.  Estimate $2000 to $2500

95      Identity Book, Jewish, French Woman.  1943 "Juive" Carte D'Identite issued by the French police in co-operation with the Nazis for Mathilde Parlier of Rouen, France...born 20 June 1880. Has payment stamps and her fingerprint. Upper left corner marked "Juive" Jew). Unknown fate.  Estimate $200 to $250
98      2 Letters from SS Major General Karl Wolff.  A) From SS-General Karl Wolff To SS-General Schmitt dated 23 May 1939   (April crossed out). Hand signed by Wolff (green pencil).  This letter authorized the transfer of SS-Lt. Richard Schulze to the foreign ministry as von Ribbentropp's adjutant.  B) From SS-Gruppenführer Karl Wolff To SS-Main Office July 19th 1939. Hand signed in green pencil by Wolff.  Also hand written comments by Wolff.  Underlined comment and initials by Himmler.  Letter requests an investigative report on a Dr. Fahrenkamp.  Stamped as entered into SS files on 21 July 1939. Estimate $400 to $600
112    Letter from SS-General Theodor Eicke To RF-SS Heinrich Himmler. Dated February 1st 1938 and hand signed by Eicke and initialed in green pencil by Himmler.  Letter notifies Himmler that he (Eicke) has returned from vacation in Italy, and references an illness.  In very good condition.  Estimate $600 to $800
113    Letter from From SS-General Theodor Eicke To SS-Gruppenführer Schmitt. Dated May 8th 1939 and hand signed by SS-General Eicke.  Deals with an SS-Standartenführer Tamaschke at Ravensbruck Concentration Camp. In very good condition.  Estimate $700 to $900.
114    Letter from SS-General Theodor Eicke To RF-SS Heinrich Himmler. May 7th 1937, hand signed in purple by Eicke with a handwritten "Eilt!" (hurry) in upper right.  Letter deals with a promotion and transfer of Max Simon.  Simon later commanded the SS-Totenkopf Division. In excellent condition.  Estimate $700 to $900.
115    Letter From Dr. K. Jung To RF-SS Heinrich Himmler. Dated October 2nd 1938 signed by Jung.  Has SS Main Office stamp.  Jung sends notice that he is travelling to Italy and will be there a week at the Italian Academy.  He then plans to travel to the Italian Island Group and return to Munich on 20 Oct. 1938.  In very good condition.  Estimate $200 to $300

116    2 Documents signed by SS Lt. General Oswald Pohl.  A) SS promotion for SS 2nd Lt. Hans Rüder Grossman to Captain. Dated September 6th 1941 Promotion request for above named individual.  Hand signed by SS Lt. General Oswald Pohl, chief of all concentration camps.  Pohl states that he has promoted the subject and that it should be retroactive to 20 April 1941.  Document shows some fire damage and includes photograph of Pohl.  B) Letter from General Oswald Pohl to SS Personnel Office in Berlin dated January 11th 1938.  Hand signed by Pohl.  Recommendation for promotion for a Ludwig Ries to Hauptsturmführer.  Ries was the administrative leader of SS-Standart 68. Estimate $500 to $700

117    Hermann Göring stationary and calling card lot.  Includes A)  2 different calling cards.  1.  "Hermann Göring, Reichsmarschall Des Grossdeutschen Reiches".    2.  "Der Reichsmarschall Des Grossdeutschen Reiches" B) Blank full size writing paper with "Der Preussische Ministerpräsident und Reichsminister der Luftfahrt General Göring in left upper corner and  Berlin address in right corner. C) Blank small card size "Der Reichsmarschall des Grossdeutschen  Reiches" in upper left corner. D) Blank small card size writing paper with "Der Reichsmarschall des Grossdeutschen Reiches" and Berlin address.  E) Large folded sheet with "Generalfeldmarschall Göring in upper left corner" .  All are in good to very good condition.  Also includes 2 photographs of Goring. 118    2 SS documents signed by Werner Lorenz.  A) 1936 Promotion document of SS Sturmbannführer Bruno Hofbauer to Obersturmbannführer.  Hand signed by SS General Lorenz (in red pencil on reverse). Also signed by SS General Marino on front.  Marino was commander of SS Abschnitt 13. Very good condition.  B) Letter of recommendation for an SS-Oberführer named Bigler marked "Geheim" from SS-Gruppenführer Werner Lorenz To Reichsführung-SS Heinrich Himmler dated October 13th 1934.  Hand signed by Lorenz.  In good condition.  Estimate $400 to $600
119    SS enlistment contract signed by Himmler.  SS Enlistment Contract (Dienstvertrag) for SS Untersturmführer Arnold Jürgensen.  Document explains obligation and service time as an SS leader.  Hand signed by Heinrich Himmler and Jürgensen.  Expiration date of service was to have been 16 May 1955. Very good condition.  Estimate $750 to $1000

120    Letter signed by Draeger.  Hand signed by Friedhelm Draeger, Vice Consul of the German Foreign Ministry, who operated out of New York prior to the war.  Relates to accommodations for Party Day 1938 and comes with translation. Estimate $50 to $100

130    German 1942 aircraft blueprints.  50 different original plans for proposed and existing aircraft.  Each blueprint 8" by 11".  Typed note with detailed but unverifiable provenance claims the entire collection was found in Hermann Göring's office at Peenemunde in 1945 by a US Naval Intelligence officer assigned to investigate the rocket site.  Estimate NOT based on veracity of provenance.  Estimate $200 to $400
131    7 Kriminal-Polizei (KRIPO) awards.  All for a German individual named Karl Hell dates range from 1935 to 1945.  Condition Fair to Excellent .  Estimate $200 to $300.

144    2 Letters to Hermann Göring with his handwritten comments.  Both from 1944.  A) Typewritten letter to Göring from Nickolaus von Stulpnagel.  Hand written comments and initials in purple by Göring.  B)  Hand written by an unknown woman to Herr Göring.  Göring's handwritten comments at top of page.  Letter written on blue/gray paper. Estimate $250 to 400.

145    Hitler Youth lot.  Includes 3 Hitler Youth membership certificates, booklet "Leistungsbuch Der Hitler-Jugend", BDM member Rosa Metz Soldbuch with documents, Hitler youth membership card, fold out style with stamps and photo and a camp application for the Hitler Youth.  Estimate $300 to $500

146    Gestapo files of insurance rebates of deceased & emigrated Jews. Documents (9 groups plus 4 single docs.).  Lists & information on emigrated Jews and many deceased concentration camp prisoners who were due insurance rebates/refunds from policy dividends or equity.  Nazi decrees provided that this money from "non-Germans" must be forfeited to the government.   Estimate $400 to $600

148    WWII Jewish documents including Arrest records, Polish resistance, Ghetto pass, Execution notices, Employment statements.  Important lot of documents includes A) "Tragedja wotynska" 1942 Typed newsletter by the Polish resistance describing atrocities committed against civilians by German SS and Police units as well as Ukrainian volunteers (with full translation). Szyler states he has a sister Etka who is in Sweden and he has not received a letter from her. B) Letter from Stanislaus Smolarek a prisoner of Dachau to a family member.  All on KZ writing paper with instructions at the top .  Postage stamp removed.  2 Dachau postal receipts for receiving packages by Smolarek also included with this letter.  C) Letter to Buchenwald KL Prisoner Josef Lischka, # 9925, Block 3 from  Marie Lischka, Brünn 12, Protektorat (Poland) with camp censor stamp.   Estimate $250 to $250
