7        9 German armbands and sleeve bands.  Includes DAF (German Labor Front) armband with "Unterlagerführer" on orange band with blue DAF cogged wheel insignia, Gestapo white armband with stretch attachment with French & German "M.G. POLICE - M.R. POLIZEI"  (Military Government Police) , Deutsche Wehrmacht, German Military - Non-Members Of The Armed Forces, 3 German Military  -  "Im Dienst Der Deutschen Wehrmacht" and a few others.  See photos.  Estimate $300 to $400
9        2 German belts with belt buckles.  A) SA open face buckle.  Chocolate brown wide leather belt.  RZM marked.   B)  RZM and M4/24/1 (Buckle Only) 60mm wide brown leather belt with gold colored political leader buckle.  Complete with both keepers.  Belt is the first pattern with claw buckle holes neatly filled with leather.  Late war use. Estimate $200 to $300
10      Foreign armbands and Insignia lot.   12 items total.  Includes: A) F.F.I. (French Resistance) armband from Paris section of the French Resistance.  White cotton with blue, white and red vertical stripes and Cross of Lorraine.  Ink property stamp.  B) F.F.I. (French Resistance) armband.  Red, white and blue with buckle at rear.  Cross of Lorraine on either side of "F.F.I." C)   Cloth Insignia for Polish Slave Laborer.  Two identical patches.  Purple “P” on yellow with purple border.  Approximately 2" square.  Required wear by all Poles forced to work in Germany.   D) Warsaw Home Army armband with red and white stripe and embroidered Polish eagle in silver wire.  E) Polish ID rectangular pin F) Ukrainian hat badge. G) 5 pieces of what appear to be Japanese uniform insignia.    Estimate $200 to $250  
26      101st Airborne / 506th PIR lot.  Large lot that belonged to Charles Dix a member of the 506th Parachute Infantry of the United States.  Includes promotion document for Dix, a 506th PIR vehicle I.D tag (metal plate), 2 booklets on the 101st Airborne Division, 1942 Parachute training manual, personal photographs, Christmas card-101st & 506th insignia, Christmas dance announcement 1944, Army pass/railway ticket England, PIR booklets and miscellaneous articles, personal certificates, Maps of France where he marked personal notes about locations on the map and newspaper clippings.  Together in large binder.  Estimate $500 to $750

27      Steel warning signs in Polish language.  5 total, all of them enamel over steel, relatively small and circa WW2.  Includes A) 2 of them reportedly from Auschwitz depicting skull & crossbones with a red lightning bolt thru it and in Polish "NIE DOTYKAC!  URZADZENIE ELEKTRYCZNE!" (Stay Away!  Electrified Fence!), each is 6" by 10" with drilled holes for mounting in each corner.  B) A third smaller sign in Polish roughly translates a Prohibition regarding carrying water in containers that previously held explosive, corrosive, smelly materials (?). C) Small caution sign in German with red lettering "Vorsicht  bei gesprachen! feind hort mit".  D) Small sign "Dla niepalacych.  Estimate based on the fact that we have no supporting documentation regarding provenance other than the consignors museums notes.  Estimate $600 to $3000

33      German uniform insignia.  5 pieces. Includes pair of silver and black bullion cord on dark green ground shoulder boards and 3 other miscellaneous cloth patches.  Estimate $150 to $250
34      German collar patches and  insignia.  Includes SS, Allgemeine-SS collar patches/tabs and metal deaths head hat insignia. 6 pieces total.  Estimate $200 to $300
35      German postal service, stamp cancel plate.  Engraved cancelling plate made of curved steel with eagle and swastika and the words "Deutsches Reich".  Very rare and unique item.  Estimate $1200 to $1400
37      Political artwork by "Fips", Philip Ruprecht (cartoonist for Der Sturmer).  A single panel with  6 pen & ink original drawings by "Fips" (Philip Ruprecht) the cartoonist for "Der Sturmer".  Probably never published as they were intended for the last week of April 1945 issue  (16/45 code date).  Anti-Semitic theme.  RARE.  Panel had been folded at one point and there is tearing where the crease was.  Estimate $500 to $700
38      German 4 piece Mess kit.  Stainless mess kit all stamped with Waffen Eagle over swastika and some with "GAG" in box and "41" and "42" .  Estimate $75 to $100
39      German telephone tapping device.   Telephone, Communications Monitoring Set or Phantom Box.   Small wooden box with earphone and telephone plug.  Has wiring diagram plate and a switch for calls.  "NTT 1934 "and "WaA39" Military Acceptance Stamp and "1941" on earphone.  This unit was possibly used to monitor phone lines from the Hermann Göring Research Institute.  Estimate $200 to $300.
58      Concentration camp and Ghetto currency, paper money.    Includes: A) Buchenwald "Standort-Kantine" 2RM note marked "Wertmarke 15473" in good condition.  B) 4 pieces from Flossenburg Camp. 3 blue paper notes, 1 brown paper note.  All valued at 1 Mark.  Waffen-SS marked.  C) 4 pieces of Littzmannstadt (Lodz) Ghetto money dated May 15th 1940 in uncirculated condition. All were for use within Lodz Ghetto and represent receipts (Quittung) for German currency.  2 - 20 Mark (#239708 & 238480), 1 - 1 Mark (#366813), 1 - 50 Pfennig (#862310).  These were known as "Rumskies". D) 7 pieces for use within Theresienstadt Ghetto and representing receipts (Quittung) for Czech currency. 1 each of the following: 1 Krone, 2 Kronen, 5 Kronen, 10 Kronen, 20 Kronen, 50 Kronen, 100 Kronen. All are unissued.   Estimate $500 to $700
74      German Nazi armbands. Lot of 6.  Includes A) “NS-Studentenbund (National Socialist Students League).   Armband still affixed with RZM tag and stamped steel Student ID tag held by rope which reads "4 48, 35 475/1".  B) "Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht" (German Home Guard) armband. C) 4 other regular party armbands (2 with/RZM label's). $300 to $400
80      German Nazi belt buckles.  3 belt buckles. 2 variations of the SA/Brown shirts/storm trooper and army combat belt buckle.  Estimate $150 to $200
85      SA Gorget, also worn by SS early on. Nicely marked (RZM, M1/83) pre war Gorget.  Nickel plated, tear dropped shaped with guilt brass fittings.  Chain hung with olive drab wool/felt backing.  Estimate $500 to $750 
87      German Army Field police Gorget (Feldgendarmie) with tritium radioactive painted accents so as to seen at night (Eagle and Swastika and lettering and 2 large buttons).  With original chain.  Estimate   $400 to $500
88      German Nazi belt buckles.  Lot of 3 enlisted party belt buckles. Including a SA brass brown shirt (slightly dented).  See photos  $150 to $250
89      Red wool SS arm band,  with black edging and unsown ends.  Paper RZM tag on reverse reads "No. 213657". In excellent condition.  $250 to $350
90      Red wool SS arm band.  Worn SS arm band with paper RZM tag on reverse reading “No. 313001". $150 to 250.
96      Feldherrnhalle Cuff title.  The band color is olive brown and it measures approximately 17" long. There is some very minimal fray wear along the edges of the band.  The title “Feldherrnhalle” is machine woven in the old Deutsche Schrift .  Estimate $900 to $1200
101    2 Pre war Radios (Volks and Motorola).  A) Volks "VE301w Radio - Funk - Werkstatten G.m.b.H.".  Brown Bakelite case.  11"x15"x6" in size.  Eagle and swastika on rear of speaker.    Appears to be period replacement of fabric (grille cloth) over speaker opening.  Outer case damage repaired. Speaker torn.  No tubes.  Not in working order.  B)1938 Motorola table radio. Model 59T2 with serial number D92282.  Controls on top of radio.  Small table top model.  Wooden case.  Exceptional condition for age.  Works very well but needs antenna and ground.  Estimate $150 to $300
102    Zenith Cobra Radio and Record Player.  Appears to be in very good condition.  Estimate $50 to $100
103    German Volks Bakelite DKE Radio. Brown Bakelite case.  Commercial radio that was capable of only receiving Nazi broadcasts.  Eagles and swastikas on the tubes.  White fabric over speaker opening. DKE (Deutscher Kleinempfanger or German mini-receiver).  Estimate $250 t0 $500
104    German Volks VE301Dyn GW radio.  Brown Bakelite case.  11" x12" x7" in size.  Commercial radio that was capable of only receiving Nazi broadcasts.  Eagle and swastika on each side of tuning dial.  Dial indicates only German cities.   Fabric over speaker opening.  Complete with tubes.  Estimate $250 t0 $500
105    US Army record player/phonograph. Heavy olive drab case with "Special Services  U.S. Army" .  Wind-up, 78 rpm player.  Instruction label on inside of lid.  All olive drab color including turntable.  This was a frontline item intended primarily for playing "V Discs".   "Waters Conley Co., Rochester, Minn".  Estimate $250 to $500
106    German military SS "Olympia" typewriter.  War-time portable field model.  Has all the proper keys including SS key.  With commercial style  carry case and locking key.  Estimate $300 to $500
121    Marklin 1934 Armored toy car.   "Baukasten-Panzerwagen Nr.1101" - [Component System Armored Car - No 1101] - this model has a semi gloss "Marble Effect" pre-war 3 color camouflaged finish. part of construction series, this well detailed military toy comes with top mounted turret with protruding guns, body styled in auto design with headlights and grille, armored visor, clockwork driven. 15'' long.  Estimate $800 to $1200

122    3 German Toys including Tippco Anti-aircraft truck.   A) Tippco Anti-aircraft truck, 11"long.  Camouflage color.  Has 88mm gun on bed with 4 Luftwaffe soldiers on back and driver in cab.  Wheels on the front turn and doors open.  Gun fires a cap.  Wind-up motor works but key is missing. "Dunlop Balloon Cord" wheels.  B) Toy cannon, stamped steel and painted camouflage.  Cap firing.  Tires are marked "Dunlop Balloon Cord, 900 x 130".  Also marked "Foreign". C) Toy siege cannon with tamped steel and painted camouflage.  Cap firing.  Wheels have 9 flat sections.  Elevator knob. No makers marks.  Estimate $800 to $1000


 

123    23 German Nazi toy soldiers, most are marked Elastolin.  In varying conditions.  Hand painted composite figures.  Estimate $200 to $300

124    15 prewar SS/SA German toy soldiers.  Lead soldiers Han painted on green painted bases.  No makers marks.  Found in Holland at the end of the war.   Estimate $300 to $500
125    Lineol toy soldiers and 1938 catalog.  8 Nazi period Lineol toy soldiers with 1938/1939 original Lineol Catalog in excellent condition. Estimate $100 to $200
134    WWI period US Aerial bomb painted red and grey for training purposes.  Bomb head is made of cast steel and is mounted with a wooden tail with stamped steel fins.  This early aerial bomb has one mounting release ring at its center of gravity.  Bomb measures 26.5" long.
135    WWII German 88mm Tank Artillery Round stamped on base "88cmKWK43".  Base of round also stamped with factory code "awl, 44" and with an eagle over "WaA21".  Artillery shell measures 3ft 8inches in overall length.  Tip of shell is painted white. From a German Tiger II (King Tiger) tank. L/71 KwK43. Large, blackened, steel casing with projectile. Extremely rare piece of ordnance. Battle of The Bulge vintage. 80 or 86 rounds stored on inside walls and in rear of turret of tank. Estimate $500to $700
136    German & US grenades and proximity fuzes.  Includes A) US pineapple grenade B) German model 1939 Egg grenade C) German anti-personnel mine.  MiZ-35, appears complete but inert D) US proximity fuze.  Silver colored fuze with red plastic window.  Obtained from Pat Alessi (Navy vet) of Needham, Mass. who stated that he worked on development of the fuze early in the war and brought this one home with him.  Estimate $100 to $200
137    German Model 24 "Potatoe Masher" Grenade.  Complete with cord and ball beneath cap.  Wooden handle is impressed "wc1943".  Lot also includes a rare matching steel fragmentation sleeve in matching dark olive drab paint.  Estimate $300 to $400

142    Records from Hitler’s home Berghof removed with US permission. Twenty three, 78 rpm records with original "Berghof" inventory numbers applied that were removed from Berghof by Major (at the time Captain) Harry Vernon Anderson who served with the 101st Airborne Division with permission from Col. Ned Moore in May 1945 (documents included) .  Records are contained in 3 maroon binders and are in very good condition with exception of 4 which have pieces broken off.  From the Berghof, Hitler’s home, in Berchtesgaden.    Estimate $3000 to $10,000
143    Nazi party folio size portable leather desk. Gray / green leather with large gold leaf eagle and swastika on cover.  17" x 13".  Inside is a blotter with compartment for pen and papers.  Written on blotter in pencil:  "Charles T. Dix, 506 Parachute Infantry, 28 April 1945, Berchtesgaden, Germany”.  See lot 26 for a lot of personal items belonging to Dix.  Estimate $600 to $800

171      White linen Handkerchief claimed to have been taken from Himmler's home.   13"square handkerchief with elaborate "H" embroidered in white in one corner.  Reportedly taken from Himmler's home (along with a number of other artifacts) by a member of the 101st Airborne Division - 1945.  Estimate based on lack of supporting documents on provenance.  Estimate $50 to $350

226      German Nazi Party 16mm WWII films.  A ) 16mm Film (3 reels) , Sound, Triumph of the Will, Documentary of the 1934 Nazi Party Day in Nürnberg.  This film is a postwar print of the original, uncut 35mm film with no subtitles.  Print was made at Warner Bros. Studios in California in the early 1970's by a film historian who had access to the print.  B)  Original Nazi 16mm.film of the 1933 Nuremberg Party Rally.  Film may be a newsreel version the  film "Victory of faith".   Estimate $300 to $400
227      WWII 16mm news films from the German Government.  6 original newsreels covering varied topics and German propaganda including scenes of destruction in Poland, Hitler Youth training, Party members volunteering, Miscellaneous training, Prisoners, Engineering "In Action", Russian Front battle scenes, German troops being greeted in Poland and much more.  See photos for detailed list of for each reel.  2 from 1941 with sound and the other 4 from 1939 to 41 are silent.  Estimate $750 to $2000
228      Collection of WWII German Films and Audio propaganda.  A) Original German Government 16mm Training films.  4 in original canisters and one  in newer container.  B) Three small 16mm  reels in original orange Agfa canisters.  Very brief propaganda / news films.  "Monthly Small Film Show"  Two of the cans have original instructions. Includes "No.2 - 1935",  "No.6 - 1935" "No.4 - 1936"  C) Original 35mm Film with sound.  3" roll not on reel.  Black and white.  In cardboard box marked Der Film Fürs Heimkino, Hitler in Stuttgart, 30m.  Shows Hitler, sports event parade and Goebbels at the end of the film.  No titles.  Possibly original newsreel footage.   D) Audio tapes of original speeches and programs from Nazi Germany recorded postwar from the originals.  Includes Hitler Speeches, Deutsches Wunschkonzert, Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels, Radio Broadcasts, Heinrich Himmler Speeches and numerous others.  Also included in this lot are tapes Cheney used for the Museum Crossing the Wire.   Estimate $500 to $1000

230      Philatelic: Nazi German pre war and WWII Stamps, Includes Deutsches Reich stamp book.  Lot of stamps Including A) Deutsches Reich Approx. 50 pages of mounted, Nazi pre-war stamps.  Standard style of stamp album.  Each page has significant stamps from 1933 thru 1940.  A few missing but overall quite complete.  Several commemoratives: Munich, 1936 Olympics, Hitler etc.  B) Book "Philately of the Third Reich" C) Sheet of 100 brown Hitler head stamps D) Commemorative stamp set from the 1936 Olympics.  8 cancelled Third Reich stamps on Nazi Olympic paper.  D) 1941 commemorative canceled postcard.   Estimate $700 to $900
