1. Sarouk room size Oriental Rug having a wide floral border with open rose/red central field and a small center medallion. 19'5" by 10'7" in excellent overall condition. Circa 1930-40. 2. An oil on canvas seascape with bathers marked on verso "1826" together with another oil on canvas landscape of a classical ruin. Both 8 ¼" by 11" sight. From a former collection of M. Auguste Dide et M. Noemie Dide, nee Dupont. Previously sold at Sotheby's sale #3222 #142/2. 3. Oil on canvas landscape of a winter marsh with distant factories under a cloudy sky. Signed lower left "Robt Eichelberger, -1890, New York". Relined. 28 ½" by 18 ½" sight. 4. Sheraton mahogany work table (2 drawers with bag slide beneath) set on 4 turned and rope twist legs, line inlay on the top and each drawer front. 28 ½" tall by 16" by 18" top. Old refinished condition. Early 19th century, Massachusetts or New Hampshire 5. Gilt Federal mirror with an architectural top molding with 14 acorns over a panel with a carved cornucopia filled with fruit flanked with split columns. Replaced mirror. 28 ½" tall. Early 19th century. 6. English coin silver salver, the serpentine edge is decorated with alternating large and small shells, a coat of arms is chased at the center while the edge is supported by 3 scrolled feet; the under side has blocked initials of "W, L * E, E * H", the hallmarks, rampant lion, lions head with a crown, "K", "EC", London, circa 1765, Edward Capper, 12 ½" diameter, minor scratches and dents. 7. English coin silver tankard with stepped domed lid, serpentine shaped handle containing the hinge for the lid and a baluster shaped body over a flaring base. Both the lid and base are hallmarked crown over lions head, rampant lion, "TW, U", London early 19th century, 8" tall with minor scratches and dents. 8. English coin silver coffee pot, the stepped domed lid has a flame finial and gadrooned edge hinged off the carved black stained mahogany handle, and the baluster shaped body has an applied shell decorated spout and is engraved with a coat of arms over a banner saying "DEO.REGIQUE. DEBEO" set on a flaring arched base with gadrooned edge. Lid and the top edge of the body are hallmarked "LC", "M", rampant lion, lion with crown, London, circa 1785, 10 ½" tall, small dent and scratches. 9. Pair of sterling silver tongs, the clasping part in the form of a bird's leg, marked "Tiffany and Co. pat 1900". 5 ½" long. 10. Chippendale 4 drawer chest with a molded top over graduated beaded drawers set on a tall bracket base. Pine secondary wood, older refinish, replaced brass. Late 18th century New England. 36 ½" case width by 35 ¼" tall. 11. Sarouk Oriental rug with a center medallion on a brick background in an intricately patterned field with a border of multi bands in varying patterns, early 20th century, 8' 11" by 12'6", good pile, missing the fringe. 12. Oil on canvas landscape of a woodland scene with people walking down a road beside a river with snow covered mountains in the background, probably the Swiss Alps. Attributed to A. Leu (August Wilhelm, 1819-1897 or August the younger, 1852-1876). Laid down on board with a newer gold frame, 31" by 44 ½" sight. 13. Hepplewhite Mahogany 5 drawer chest with a dove tailed top, the top two drawer fronts are a pull out desk having a satin wood banded drawer and cubby hole interior with the central prospect door inlaid with an oval in the manner of a fan over 3 beaded edge drawers set on a bracket base. Large post and bail brass is replaced, Late 18th century, England, 36" wide by 39 " tall. 14. Oil on canvas landscape of a haying scene with men loading one wagon drawn by oxen and the other by horses in the fore ground with mountains meadows in the background. Initialed lower left "JWAS" (John White Allen Scott, 1815-1907, Cambridge Mass), 17 ½" by 11" sight, Relined with in painting to center right, Newer gold frame. 15. Hepplewhite mahogany drop leaf Pembroke table with a square top over a banded case containing a single drawer with an antique post and bail brass supported by 4 delicately tapering legs with herringbone inlay on the faces, a multi wood diamond at the tops and banding at the ankles, Probably 18th century Southern New England, 28 ½" tall by 32 ½" long by 21 ½" wide closed. 16. Sterling Silver Desert set marked "Tiffany & Co. pat 1878 M" in Olympian Pattern. Includes: 12 cake forks, 12 Ice cream forks, 2 serving pieces, 5 citrus spoons and 2 demitasse spoons. 17. Navaho runner with cream colored center outlined by a dark brown design on a lighter brown background bordered by cream, red and dark brown, Probably early 20th century, 29" by 71" long. 20. Navaho rug with 14 diamond shapes in medium brown bordered in red and dark brown as central pattern on a cream field bordered by a band in medium brown interwoven with red and dark brown designs, 4'2" by 6'6", mid 20th century. 21. Navaho rug with an overall zig zag design in red and medium brown on a cream background with 3 center stripes in red, medium brown and dark brown, 6'5" by 4'4", mid 20th century. 22. Navaho chief's blanket woven with red cream dark brown and medium brown stripes and partial stripes with zig zag designs at the corners and the two long edges. Exquisite drilling in excellent condition. Scalloped boxlock action with beautiful game scene engraving. Action retains much case hardening color. 16 ga X 16 ga X 5.6 X 61mm Vom Hoff Super Express. Pop up rifle site operated by the top lever. Greener type side safety and cross bolt. Side clips to action. 24" Bohler steel barrels. Buffalo horn trigger guard, pistol grip cap and butt plate. Very highly figured walnut stock with beautiful black streaking. Claw type telescopic site mounts are present, but no scope. Condition: Excellent. 23. Victorian Gold leaf mirror with an elaborate crest having a center cartouche flanked by opposing cranes in a foliate design over a beaded and rope turned frame, 19th century, 55" tall by 29" wide. 24. Oil on canvas beach scene with bathers strolling by Mabel Woodward, 1877-1945, Providence, R.I., Gold frame, 6 ¼" by 7 ¼" sight. Accompanied by a letter of authentication. 25. Mahogany slant front desk having a fold down lid revealing a stepped cubby and drawer interior with valances over the cubbies and a central shell carved drawer flanked by split spindles applied to pullout hidden drawers over four graduating drawers surrounded by beading applied to the case. The top drawer is flanked by 2 pull out slides which support the lid when open, above a tall bracket base and a center drop, Late 18th century Massachusetts possibly the Boston area, replaced brass, 41" wide by 42 ½" tall. 26. Pair of iron Spit hook andirons with a flattened faceted ball top set on a cross hatch decorated shaft, the applied spit hooks both front and back are set on an arched based with flattened feet, iron dogs, probably 16th or 17th century European, 28" tall. 27. Clockworks spit jack mechanism, appears to be complete together with the large iron spit fitted with an adjustable iron meat holder and at one end of the wheel that connects with the clock works, probably 18th century. 28. Stoneware handled pitcher having a pewter lid over a gray glazed body with blue banding at the top and bottom and incising outlined in blue down the front, 19th century, 10 ½" tall. 44. Oil on canvas allegorical scene of Adonis and Venus resting on the banks of a river in a pastoral setting surrounded by Puti attributed to Noel Coypel (16th to 17th century French), glued down on masonite. 43 ½" by 36" sight, newer gold frame. 45. Set of four fancy Sheraton Tiger maple and gilt decorated chairs (2 arms and 2 sides) with balloon shaped seats. The arm chairs have scrolled arms. All four chairs have carved slats with leaves and flowers and slightly flaring turned legs connected by elaborate front stretchers and plain side stretchers, first half of the 19th century. 46. Sterling silver tea and coffee set, tea and coffee pot, a covered sugar and creamer retailed by Grogan Company, market with a "D" in an oval, 20th century, monogrammed. 47. 9 coin silver serving pieces: An English coin stuffing spoon, a kings pattern master butter knife by "R&WW Wilson", sugar shell, 2 shell pattern straining ladles, pudding spoon, 2 pair of sugar tongs and teaspoon, 18th & 19th century American & English. 48. Gorham Sterling Silver square open vegetable in a Chippendale style together with a round shaped footed bowl and a bread tray. 20th century. 49. Silver Chippendale form deep charger appears to be coin silver, 19th century, 19" diameter. 50. 3 silver plated serving pieces with ivory appointments, an oval footed warmer with a fold down top, a covered footed sauce boat, and a covered handled butter dish. 51. Hooked stair runner with a brown border and striped design tread sections alternating with pictorial riser sections with scenes of houses, boats, horse drawn sleighs, fireplace, arched bridge, etc…, 22 ½" wide by 19'9" long. 52. Needlework Sampler with overall stitching on a linen background, figures including a pastoral maiden, a castle and park with people in the foreground, flowers, dogs, church bordered in a color on color and green zig zag design. Enclosed in a box "Susannah Berry Her work, Finished May 13, 1814, aged 13 years". English. 53. Mahogany paint box with rope inlaid edges around the top, some missing, which lifts to expose label on the top and a compartmented interior with watercolor cakes mixing palate and water bowl. The label is complete and reads "W.J. Reeves & Woodyer" etc… surrounded by an etched border with symbols of the English Empire. Below the fitted case is a drawer. 19th century English, 8 ¾" wide by 7 ½" deep by 2 ½" tall. 54. Oil on canvas genre painting of children with a donkey signed lower right "G Gazzardi 1879" (Guisseppi, 1845-1914), 15 ½" by 18 ½" sight, in an old molded frame painted white. 55. Hepplewhite Cherry 4 drawer chest with an inlayed banded edge around the top over line inlaid drawers set on a scalloped base with banded inlay and flaring French feet. 18th or early 19th century American, 41½" case width by 35" tall. 56. Mocha flower pot in two parts with a funnel shaped top set on a base, both with yellow glaze on a cream background accented with brown banding and a brown seaweed design, and an impressed mark "Monteream" on the base, probably 19th century French, 8"tall. 59. Mocha punch bowl with a flared rim decorated with brown seaweed design and brown banding over a yellow glaze on a glazed cream background, impressed mark "Creil" on the bottom, 11 ¼" diameter. 19th century French. 59A. Mocha handled mug decorated with a band of seaweed, cracked, 6"tall. 60. Porcelain jug with a modeled brown glazed handle and neck over a bulbous body with a medium blue glazed background with dark blue, yellow, black and gold stylized Chinese decoration and impressed Letters on the bottom "V L W", probably 19th century English, 11" tall. 61. Mahogany Barometer, stick form wall mounted with a rectangular face having a Mercury filled thermometer and barometer tubes and labeled "E. C. Spooner, Boston" over an elongate half spindled body enclosing the reservoir and mounted on a molded plaque. 41" long, 19th century. 62. Oil on canvas landscape of a stand of pine trees, signed lower right W P Phelps (William Preston, 1848-1923), Original gold painted frame, 13" by 20" sight. 65. Adam style dining table with an inlaid banded molded edge cut cornered top over a paint decorated skirt with a floral design surrounded by a black outline and a leaf carved panel at the cut corners set on four turned and carved Adam style legs. 2 corresponding leaves. England circa 1910, 96" overall length by 29 ½" high. 66. Gilt and fire gilt Federal Tablet mirror with an architectural cornice embellished with 15 acorns over a frieze decorated with an applied sunflower flanked by 2 wreaths flanked by 2 rosettes (1 restored) supported by 2 rope twisted columns topped by Corinthian type foliation on either side of a reverse painted panel in blue and gold leaf of a costal scene over the mirror. Some gilt loss. Labeled on the back panel "Nicholas Geffroy, Thames Street, Newport, RI". Early 19th century. 67. Mahogany Chippendale side chair with a carved pierced splat and molded stiles over the original slip seat above a carved shaped skirt set on cabriole front legs with carved returns ending in ball and claw feet and raking round rear legs. Attributed to Thomas Afflech. 18th century Philadelphia, see plate #81, John Kirk book, 37 ¾" tall. Provenance; from the founding family of The Merchant Bank of Boston and Lucius Beebe & Co., oldest cotton company in America, originating in New Orleans, branches in Boston and many bank branches and homes in Wakefield and Melrose, Son's name, Decius. 68. Mixing trough made from a hollowed log, probably late 18th or early 19th century, possibly Native American, 75" long including the flat handles by 22" wide. 69. Cherry Queen Anne 2 part highboy with a red painted surface, the top section having a cornice molding over 5 long graduated drawers set on a base with an applied waist molding over one long drawer above 3 short drawers, the center being shallow with an unusual shaped and bracketed base set on 4 cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms. Eighteenth century North Shore Massachusetts. 35" top width, 38" base width by 72" tall. Replaced brass. 76. Bridle and Reins, Native American, Polychrome and seed beads on a hide backing embellished with red tassels, brass discs and bells, Circa 1890 or earlier, 14" by 56" long. 77. Martingale, Native American, Floral beaded design in green and blue backed with red woolen cloth and bordered in dark blue wool, Circa 1890-1900, 16" by 38". 78. Saddle cover, Native American, made entirely of tanned leather in a gray shade, fringed with bells attached to the ends. The body is bordered with red, blue, yellow and green bead work on a white beaded background, late 19th or early 20th century, Plateau Tribes. 77" long by 24" width. 79. Early Navaho rug in red, dark brown, and camel on a cream back ground, 2 stylized crosses flanked by arrows in the central field, inter woven lazy lines, 78" long by 41 ½" wide and a matt with zig zag decoration in brown and camel on a cream background. 80. Cherry one piece corner Cupboard with a molded cornice over dental molding with 2 flat paneled doors top and bottom, set on style form feet with a shaped base, 82" tall by 41" face width. 81. Bokhara Oriental rug with an overall lozenge design on a dark red background, some wear, 9' by 13', 20th century. 82. Federal two part tablet mirror with stenciled decoration on the crest and half spindles in good old finish, 19th century American. 36 ¾" tall. 83. Multi wood diamond shaped tiered sewing box with a pin cushion set on a multi wood turned base, 19th century, 17" long by 6 ½" wide, together with a child's leather boot made into a pin cushion, both probably 19th century. 83A. Oil on canvas landscape of trees along a river bank monogrammed lower right "by William Morris Hunt" (1824-1879, Wethersfield, NH), 13" by 10" sight, minor chips to top edge of the modern frame. 83B. Red painted Windsor arm chair with a turned base, labeled on the bottom of the seat, owned by William Morris Hunt, 1824-1879, late 19th century. 84. Oil on canvas landscape "Call of the Wild" featuring a bull moose trumpeting in the foreground, the central figure with his cow in the background, signed lower right "C. Cast Iron Furnace plate with a Roman sun motif, 17 ½" by 28 ¾". Metal display stand included, 18th/19th century. 110. Pennsylvania Arrow back settee in the original mauve/gray paint with 3 groups of fruit on the crest rail, scrolled arms attach to a plank seat set on 8 turned legs attached by stretchers, 19th century. 111. Oil on canvas Family portrait of 4 people, a man, a woman, a son and a daughter in a red dress, circa 1830 American, 23" by 28 ¼", relined in a newer frame. 112.
