1     Heriz room size Oriental rug, brick background, center medallion, an overall geometric design, 9' 3" x 12' 8", worn, early 20th century.

2     One horse open sleigh, completely restored, red painted exterior with yellow pin striping, black interior, restored in 1976 by Earl Livingood, Lancaster Pa., whip and sharves included, no replaced parts, 19th century Vermont or New York. Estimate $2000 to $3000.

3     Mahogany dressing mirror, chest top, a rectangular mirror glass in a line inlaid frame upheld by reeded stanchions with wooden knobs, above a line inlaid case, 2 flush line inlaid drawers, turned ivory pulls, all resting on bracket feet, 29" wide, 29" tall, early 19th century English.

4     Woman in a red shawl, oil on canvas, from the Bellows family of Walpole, New Hampshire, unsigned, ornate oval gold frame with damage, 29 1/4" x 24 1/4" sight, 19th century. Estimate $300 to $500.

5     Hepplewhite 4 drawer chest, Walnut with yellow pine secondary wood, rectangular solid top over 4 graduated drawers set on French feet in the front, a scalloped apron, 38 1/4" case width, 38 3/4" tall, old refinish, replaced brass, probably 1800 Pennsylvania.

6     Pair of intricately carved ivory walnuts, Ming Shou figures, disciples of Buddha, 1 1/4" x 1 3/8" diameter, Chinese.

7     Miniature figure of a reclining dog, rare yellow green with blue eyes, fine crackle glaze, probably early Kang Hsi, 17th/18th century Chinese.

10     Arthur B Wilder, 1857-1945, Woodstock, Vt., oil on canvas, "From North Bridgewater", signed lower right and dated 1936, labeled on the back, 16" x 20" sight, original frame. Estimate $1000 to $2000.

11     Karaja/Heriz room size Oriental rug, a central medallion with an overall geometric design, a brick background with unusual shades of green and blue, 9' x 12' 2", probably early 20th century. Estimate $3500 to $4500.

12     H. Bolton Jones, Hugh, 1909-1963, American, Oil on Canvas, Haystacks with chickens and a wagon in the foreground, signed lower right, 19 1/2" x 13 1/2" sight, old gold frame.

13     Howard Style Banjo Clock, a Rosewood case with a round face above a reverse painted throat and bottom glass, black and gold, the bottom glass has a clear oval showing the pendulum and is marked "REGULATOR", questionable works, 49 3/4" tall, 19th century. Estimate $2000 to $3000.

14     Victor Charreton, Leon Jean Pierre, 1864-1937, Oil on canvas "La Cote d Azur", 31 1/2" x 23 1/2" sight, signed lower left. Estimate $1500 to $2000.  Previously sold through Christies London.

15     Portrait of a Lord Muncaster (probably Sir Powther Augustus John Pennington born 1802 and married 1828). Oil on canvas circa 1830. Artist attributed to George Richmond (1809-1896). Relined, 25" x 30" sight. Provenance: The Manchester House Collection, Reg. #2538.

16     Hutchinson goose decoy, smallest of the Canadian geese, 20th century, Centerline, Michigan, alert position, hollow body, original paint, minor damage to beak, 17 1/2" long. Estimate $1000 to $2000.

18     Lot of 3 Birds: Miniature Canada Goose, alert position, 5" long, hand painted, some paint loss; a grouse set on a branch, 4" tall, marked "G H Gilles" Southwest Harbor, Maine", damage to beak an tail, hand painted and a 2 1/2" black bird set on a branch, hand painted, nick to beak, marked H Day.

19     4 Shore birds: A pair of 4 1/2" tall set on a stump marked on the bottom "Greater Yellowlegs, Harwood, 1974" hand painted; a 5 1/2" snipe pencil signed Alvin La Place, 1982, hand painted and a 12 1/2" snipe on a cork base, hand painted.

20     Paint decorated pine one drawer blanket chest, lift top, shaped base with a center drop, black stylized trees and splotches over a light brown background, replaced brass, 36.5" wide x 33" tall x 17 1/4"deep. Estimate $3500 to $4500.

21     Sarouk scatter oriental rug, a center medallion with an overall foliate design on a dark blue background, 40" x 60".

22     2 Shaker Chairs, refinished, splint seated 3 slat ladder back side chairs, back tilters missing, one probably from the Hancock community, 40" tall, the other 39" tall, probably from Mt Lebanon.

23     Shaker Rocker, #7 arm chair, 4 shaped slats ladder-back, mushrooms at the ends of the arms, probably Mt. Lebanon, 19th century New York.

24     J. Fairman, James, 1825-1904, New York, NY, oil on canvas "A Shower in the Valley near Gorham, N.H, Mt Adams and Madison", a man and dog walking a mountain trail, snow capped mountains in the distance, signed lower left and dated 187-, also signed on the back J F and titled. Relined around the inscription, 35 1/2" x 19 1/4" sight, probably the original gilded ornate frame, Provenance: Christies, NY, 3/11/93 lot #24, private collection New Hampshire. Estimate $25,000 to $35,000.

25     Shoenhuts Humpty Dumpty Circus, original box with 32 figures and props plus another box with the tent, some repaint and wear to figures. Estimate $2000 to $3000.

26     Primitive portrait of a woman, oil on board, noted on the back, 1791 Ruth King Wyman, Grandville, New York, School of Asahal Powers, conserved condition, framed, 21 1/2" x 26 1/2" sight.

27     Birch spider leg tip top Dunlap candle stand, a cut corner top inlaid with a diamond, early 19th century, New Hampshire, refinished. Probably made by John Dunlap, early 19th century, 34 1/2" tall tipped up, refinished. Estimate $1000 to $2000.

28     American Militia musket Impressed "Clark" overall length of 53.5" and barrel length of 37.5", several repaired splits and refinished stock. Estimate $2400 to $2600.

28A     Third Model Brown Bess, with "Fullproof"  and English Crown on lock box, overall length of 55" and barrel length of 39" and 1/8, refinished stock with repaired split. Estimate $1000 to $1500.

29     Edm H Osthaus, Edmund Henry, 1858-1928, watercolor on paper, 2 puppies and a turtle, signed lower right, 16" x 23 1/2" sight, under glass, a newer gold frame, fading. Estimate $5000 to $6000.

30     Third Model Brown Bess, with  English Crown on lock box and  Impressed "Warranted" on lockbox. 54.5" overall length and 39.5" barrel.. Estimate $1000 to $1500.

33     Mahogany Sheraton settee an upholstered back and seat with foliate carved arms and arm supports, rope turned front legs ending in turned cone shaped feet supported by casters, 76" long, early 19th century New Hampshire/Massachusetts. Estimate $1500 to $2000.

34     Arthur D Fuller, Davenport, 1889-1967, Westport Conn., oil on canvas possibly illustration art, "Three Sportsman, The Debate", 2 fisherman and a target shooter, 19 1/2" x 22 1/2" sight, framed.

35     Red painted chest on frame, cherry with poplar secondary wood, a split 2 over 4 drawer top set on a frame with a deep skirt, the front having deep cut outs flanking a center drop, set on four cabriole legs, 19th century painted surface, 64" tall, 35 1/2" top case width, 38 1/4" frame width, probably original brass, early 18th century, New England. 36     Sheldon Peck, 1797-1868, Itinerant American artist, pair of oil on canvas portraits, a man and woman seated before a tasseled drape, she wears a lace hat and collar, unsigned, attributed, 23 1/4" x 28 1/4" sight, framed, laid down on paper board, mottling and crackelure to surface, 19th century. Estimate $10,000 to $15,000.

37     Oriental Pattern Covered Porcelain Jar, handled, barrel form white background with dark blue and polychrome decoration, a perforated top, 18/19th century England. Estimate $1200 to $1500.

38     Coin Silver Stuffing Spoon, marked S. Kirk 1015, a Baltimore, Maryland silversmith, 12 1/2" long, early 19th century. Estimate $200 to $300.

39     Silver and gilt bronze center piece or tazza, a silver deep dish with central gilded medallion showing of figures. The outside surface decorated with hunting motif above a foliate base set on a square platform, possibly 19th century English. Estimate $1000 to $1500.

40     Continental Coin silver group, Tazza with a putto upholding a deep dish with a fleur-de-lis impressed edge standing on a raised scrolled footed base, hallmarked, 11 1/4" tall, Continental, together with 2 repoussé decorated wine coasters, 4 1/2" diameter.

54     Ernest Walbourn, 1872-1920, British, oil on canvas landscape "Scottish Highlanders Grazing", conserved condition, 29 1/2" x 19 1/2" sight, framed.

55     Set of 10 Queen Anne style chairs, slip seats, 2 arm and 8 side chairs, Victorian back paint with gold, red and green design, spoon backs, cabriole legs connected by turned stretchers. Estimate $2500 to $3500.

56     Eli Terry Mantle Clock, Pillar and Scroll, with scrolled crest and brass finials above a glass door case, the reverse painted lower panel a replacement, flanked by full columns and resting on a scalloped base flanked by bracket feet, labeled on the interior "Eli & Samuel Terry", Plymouth, Conn., early 19th century. 57     Giddings Hyde Ballou, a primitive oil on board portrait attributed to the artist, said to be "Isaac Henderson", 15" x 12" sight oval, gold frame, see attachment, 19th century New England.

74     Waterford Chandelier, cut crystal, 9 arms embellished with crystal and a crystal chain, candle form sockets with bobeche, marked, 20th century Irish.

74A     Crystal Chandelier, Waterford style central shaft supporting 6 arms between each hangs a loop of chained crystals. 25" tall including ceiling attachment.

75     Mahogany Three Pedestal Banquet Table, Figured top with molded edge and rounded corners at either end set on baluster turned pedestals supported by 4 reeded saber shaped legs ending in brass toe casters, consisting of 3 sections each with its own 4 leg pedestal, two leaves, 133" long, 56 3/4" wide, probably early 19th century Boston, Sears family (Boston) provenance available. Estimate $30,000 to $40,000.

76     Bronze Buddha, seated holding a piece of fruit, probably 19th century Japanese.

77     Seated Ming Shou Figure, holding "Flame of Impermanence", Shih-wan ware with Chang Pi type pale green glaze over white slip, typical of the artist's work is the purple flambé glaze showing through the celadon layer, probably 16th/17th century Chinese, 13 1/2" tall. Former collection of Rev. Andrew Amsbro a missionary in China, collection sold in 1990.

78     Tortoise Shell Opium Pipe, pewter decorated bowl, a carved ivory mouse nearby with carved ivory ends, probably 19th century Chinese, 22.5" long.

85     Boston Empire Mahogany Card Table, Solid fold over swivel top revealing a box enclosed by the apron set on a shaped platform base with carved floral rosettes on the 4 rounded corners, set on ball feet with castors, Vose School, early 19th century, 29 1/2" tall x 35 3/4" wide. 86     Pair of Paris Porcelain Vases, White gilded porcelain with magenta and Robins egg blue glaze, a nautical panel on one side and a bird on the other, damage to one top, 19 1/2" tall, 19th century Continental. Estimate $1,000 to $1500.

90     Porcelain Leaf Form Serving Plates: 6 piece serving set; 4 11" leaf form and two 11.5" rectangular platters with dark blue borders embellished with gold surrounding hand painted landscapes of American and European scenes described on the under side, probably mid 19th century Worcester, England, hairline crack. 96     Maid and Gentleman in a Grotto, oil on board, some flaking, 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" sight, framed, probably 18th century Continental.

97     Chippendale Secretary Bookcase, carved mahogany, an arched scrolled swan neck top, dental molded and carved rosettes above a cabinet section, 13 lights mullioned doors set on a base with fold down writing board covered in green leather, an embossed gold edge and fitted interior above two cabinet doors resting on a plinth base, 48" wide, 102" tall, minor imperfections, late 18th century England.

98     Slave Needlepoint Sampler: Has an eclectic arrangement of initials, figures (both black and white), flowers, a cat, Masonic symbols, animals, the words "We's Free", and more. Accompanied by a bill of sale for Juno and her 4 children, Charleston, South Carolina and dated 1861, phraseology indicates it was wrought after 1865. Estimate $7,000 to $9,000.

99     Pair of Classical Bronze Female Figures, mounted as lamps, one marked ____ par kley, possibly Louis Kley, French, 1833-1911, 14" tall.

100     Memorial Printed on Silk, "Mrs. Henry K. Frothingham, Charlestown, Mass, Feb 1, 1840, aged 23 years", printed By Abel Bowen 1790-1850, his information attached to the back, 11" x 16" sight, probably original gilded frame. Estimate $400 to $600.

101     Hepplewhite Inlaid Card Table, mahogany, D shaped top above a conforming apron with string inlaid legs and applied cuffs, double swing legs, 36" wide, probably New York circa 1795, over grain painted.

102    W. Bruce, William Blair, 1861-1911, New York, oil on canvas of cows wading in a river, a town in the background, 19 1/2" x 11 1/2" sight, probably the original gold frame. Estimate $1,000 to $1,500.

103     Brass Chandelier, 8 arms with candle cups embellished with leaves and flowers, early 20th century, 21 1/2" tall x 24" diameter.

104     Harrison Bird Brown, 1831-1915, Portland, Maine, oil on canvas "Fisherman at Glen Ellis Falls", unsigned, attributed, 26" x 13" sight, appears to have original gilded frame. Estimate $2,000 to $3,000.

105     Rosewood Regency Card Table, the swivel top with a brass and foliate line inlaid border, a central tapered brass inlayed pedestal set on a shaped platform brass inlayed base supported by 4 brass line inlayed curved legs ending in brass paw footed castors, 29 1/2" x 35 3/4" wide, damage and repairs, early 19th century England. Estimate $800 to $1,200.

106     Red Stoneware Vase, Tokoname tapered baluster form vase with a narrow neck, raised dragon and cloud decoration, Japanese seal mark, probably Meiji Perion, 19th century.

107     Red Stoneware Water Dropper, shih-shih dog form, recumbent, clutching a ball, makers mark on the right front flank, 4" long, probably 18/19th century Chinese Zixing Brown Stoneware.

108     Red Brown Stoneware Teapot, square bell shaped, raised archaic script on front panel, impressed makers mark on underside of pot and lid, 19th century Chinese Zixing. Estimate $600 to $800.

109     Brown Stoneware Teapot, footed, reticulated outer surface of Kueiking (devil's work), the inner solid surface with six relief carp, snake finial, makers mark on the underside of pot and lid, probably 18/19th century Chinese Zixing.

110     Edmond John Nieman, 1813-1876, English, oil on canvas landscape, 2 children pulling another in a wagon near a house, signed lower left "EJN", 15 1/2" x 19 1/2" sight, framed, repaired hole, cleaned. Estimate $1,000 to $1,500.

115     George III Canterbury, mahogany lattice form dividers above a rectangular frame, one working drawer raised on turned legs ending in bulb feet set on brass cup casters, 20" wide, 16" deep, 24" high, Circa 1800 England.

116     Pewter Flagon, covered, an ornate decorated handle and a shield on the front, set on ball and claw feet, Hallmarked, mid 19th century German, August Wey Gang, Ohringen Germany, 19 1/2" tall. Estimate $300 to $500.

117     Pewter Flagon, lid bears shield inscribed "Adoph Graf Von Bentheim, Steifert, A. 1749", a relief figure of a hunter and a dog surrounded by shields, set on bracket feet, 13" tall. Estimate $200 to $300.

118     2 Flagons with lids, a plain 12" marked on rim of body and an unmarked 8" with foliate decorated body, mid 19th century Continental.

119     Chippendale mahogany Dish Top Candle stand, a round dish top set on an urn for shaft supported by 3 arched cabriole legs ending in pad feet, 18th century New England.

120     Grueby Scarab, a 2 5/8" scarab with a dark blue glaze, impressed mark on the bottom, glaze chips to bottom edge. Estimate $300 to $500.

121     H Schouten, Henry, 1864-1927, Dutch, oil on board, 2 cows and a calf, signed lower right, 11 3/4" x 15 3/4" sight, crackelure, apparently the original gilded frame.
