Needlework Purse, a fold over fringed top and woven handle, all sides stitched like a sampler showing a colonial house on the back and various geometric designs, signed on the side under the top flap, “M Strong A 1847,” some losses, 8 1/4" x 11" x 2 1/4". Provenance: Descended in a Vermont/New Hampshire family.

4. Hermann Max Pechstein, (1881-1955), Germany, attributed, 2 similar crayon/charcoal sketches on paper set in modern frames. Harry Herman Roseland, (1868-1950), Brooklyn, NY, oil on canvas, signed lower left, “Harry Roseland,” has been relined therefore this inscription is found on verso: “The following inscription appears on the reverse of the original canvas title, ‘Reading The Tea Leaves’ by Harry Roseland, 246 Fulton St. Brooklyn, N.Y. photographed,” 20" x 24", period frame. Portrait On Ivory, large size watercolor painting on ivory titled on the reverse, “Asking For The Young Widow’s Hand by Letter’ by Stothard,” (A Robert Thomas Stothard worked in England up to 1865, known as a watercolorist), no apparent signature, not viewed out of the frame, matted under glass, 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" sight. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

13. “Tammany” Mechanical Bank, gentleman in a yellow vest seated in a chair, his right arm moves towards his belly to deposit the coin and the head nods forward. The paint is original with small chips, marked on both sides “Tammany Bank,” 6" tall. Provenance: A New Ipswich estate.

Coin Silver Five Piece Tea/Coffee Service, made by “Allcock and Allen,” NY City (1847-53), basket weave with applied corn husks, 172.98 troy oz, handled hot water on stand with burner, coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and sugar, “sterling” mark added to the bottom of each piece at a later date. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.

Levi & Abel Hutchins Tall Clock, maple case scrolled top and carved rosettes, (missing finials), silver brass dial signed in the arched top, “Levi & Abel Hutchins, Concord,” time/strike and calendar, old refinished case with replaced base, 87 1/2" tall, appears to have original weights and pendulum. Provenance: Jaffrey, N.H. collection.

Porcelain Shell Form Wash Stand, pink and gold decoration on an off white ground, sea shell design bowls on a rectangular platform with 2 cups (not matching,) marked on bottom “Vernon’s Patent, Zuccani London,” 18" x 13" x 8 1/2" tall, restoration and crack. Provenance: A Jackson, NH collection.

Chirahyan Karapet (Chirahov Carpo) Hachaturovich, (1873-1913), Armenian, oil on canvas, impressionistic painting of a Parisian Street Scene, titled on label on verso “Tableau NO. 7, Boulevard Elysee,” probably sold from his gallery in Paris, France, which he opened in 1903. Canvas, stretcher and frame are ink stamped with a French stamp which is only partially legible and reads “---ouan--- (?), Francaise (?).” Signed lower left in Cyrillic "K YNPAXOB" also appears on title label on reverse. Canvas measures 32" high x 39 1/2" wide. Painting is in original untouched condition. Provenance: An Italian Estate.

20. 1760 Polychrome Dutch Delft Jar, ovoid handled jar or pitcher depicting a lady and a gentleman in a garden, man on horseback and a woman with a cow, signed under the handle, GEGR 1760 HL (conjoined), Holland, De Porceleyne Fles (The Porcelain Bottle) J. Harlees, small edge restoration, 12 1/2" tall x 10 1/2" diameter (center).

Thomas Sully, (1783-1872), Philadelphia, probably a self portrait in the oval, unsigned, 18 1/2" x 15 1/2", (see “Poe, Portraits An Autographed copy of Thomas Sully, The Self Portrait Lot 8, Christies, N.Y. 5/18/2004” and Mathew Brady’s daguerreotype ca. 1851-1860, for other examples), appears to have been painted 1840-1850. 34. Pair Of Boston Classical Side Chairs, rosewood, brass inlaid crest rail and medial slat, a continuous cast brass flower petal string inlay set into the stiles, seat rail and saber legs, cane seats, (also modern slip in upholstered seats,) 32 1/2" tall x 18" wide. A single matching side chair was donated to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and is in their permanent collection. These are pictured in Jonathan Fairbanks’ book, “American Furniture 1620-To Present.” Some repairs, early 19th century. Provenance: A New Hampshire and Delaware collection.

37. English Hepplewhite Bow Front Server, a banded edge top over a case with 2 drawers flanking a central drawer over a serpentine inlaid apron. All set on 6 tapered legs ending in spade feet. Each drawer front is banded, the side drawers have an inlaid oval with corner half round leaf inlays on a green ground and the top of each leg has oval inlays on a green ground. Appears to be early 19th century, 48" wide x 23" diameter, 36" tall. A Jackson, NH collection.
