1. Oak mantle supported by dental molding set on paneled pilasters flanking a central cherub’s head supported by wings. Probably 19th century England. 87 ½" wide by 67" tall. 2. Ornately carved Over mantle having a foliate carved frieze with 3 faces over 6 twisted columns flanked by carved arched panels with central faces. Possibly 18th century England. 79" wide by 44" high by 11" deep. Some of the top molding is replaced. 3. Cherry Grandfather clock having an arched bonnet top with fluted columns enclosing a painted iron face with a scene of Vesuvius at the top over roman numerals, pierced iron hands, floral decoration at the corners, a calendar dial and a time and strike 8 day brass works. Signed "Silas Parsons" (1773-1859, Swanzey, New Hampshire) above a slender case with fluted quarter columns with brass capitals and a tombstone arched door set on a molded base over ogee feet. Replaced fretwork and other minor repairs. 90" tall to the top of the brass finial. 4. Extraordinary large size turned maple bowl in red paint. Probably 19th century New England. 24 ½" diameter. Horace Bundy (lots 5 thru 10) , 1814-1883, Hancock, N.H., was an itinerant artist in the mid 19th century. He traveled from Vermont to Claremont, N.H. to Alton Bay where he lived in a community of cottages above the town, known as Advent Christian Campground, started by William Miller in the 1850’s. He became pastor of the Lakewood Advent Christian Church in 1863. The paintings were painted by him prior to his move to Lakewood because the landscapes and horse(#6-#10) were found recently in his house in Alton Bay and are registered at the Smithsonian. 5. Pair of primitive portraits of a Man and a woman, both signed on the back. The man is signed "H Bundy Paint--, Claremont, June 1846" and the woman "By H Bundy, Claremont, June 1846". Possibly Mr. And Mrs. Hayes. 21 ½" by 27 ½" sight. The frames appear to be original. Small holes. 6. Primitive Oil on canvas lakescape with a sailboat, mountains and trees signed in print boldly across the bottom "Bundy Artist". 60 ½" wide by 24 ½". 7. Primitive Oil on canvas view of the town Alton Bay from across the bay together with an oil on canvas view of Alton back bay with the railroad bridge separating it from Lake Winnipesaukee. 14" by 22". Antique Heriz oriental rug with a center medallion and an open foliate design set in a red background with dark blue, cream, and light blue green accents. 10’ 5" wide by 12’10" long. Worn in a circular pattern around the center medallion with damage to the edges. Possibly late 19th century. 14. Mahogany Tall case bonnet top clock with a broken arch top, inlaid fans and fluted columns enclosing a painted iron face with moon face dial and calendar dial and 8 day brass works that are time and tube strike signed "Bigelow, Kennard Co., Boston" over a slender case with fluted quarter columns and a tombstone arched fan inlaid door over a bracket base with an inlaid urn. 94" tall. Made by Waltham, tamped on the works "Model 905", the movement is #56 and the dial is #9. 15. Rookwood plaque depicting a stand of trees near a lake at sunset. Marked lower right with a "FR" (Frederick Daniel, Henry Rothenbusch active 1896-1931) and marked "O" on the back with a Rookwood Sun over XVII. Appears to be set in the original oak frame with the Rookwood mark on paper and titled "Evening" F. Rothenbusch" on a paper label. Plexiglas covering added to the back. Plaque size 9 ¼" by 5". Frame size 10 ¾" by 14 ¾". #198. 16. Rookwood vase, light green/blue with a forest scene at sunset. Marked with sun mark and #1278F, V and a Japanese name signature. 7 ½" tall. Glaze loss at the top edge. 17. Rookwood lamp, buff background with an arts and crafts design in pink and green around the lower half. Marked on the bottom with Rookwood sun and XXIX. Mahogany Federal sofa with a rolled crest and carved scrolled horns above rolled arms having acanthus leaf carved facings supported on a faceted crotched mahogany frame set on carved hairy paw feet with cornucopia wings. Marble top French gilded serpentine front pier table with cabriole legs flanking a swag decorated apron. 58 ½" wide by 22" deep by 35 ½" tall. 25A.. Ornate Gold leaf French mirror 56" tall by 39" wide. 26. Mahogany Sheraton Pembroke table with shaped leaves above a case containing a banded Birdseye maple drawer at one end and an identical false drawer flanked by crotched birch panels at the tops of reeded and turned legs ending in ball feet. Old finish. 36" long by 29" tall. Early 19th century. New England. 27. Large set of Worcester china, 139 pieces, including 30 dinner plates, nest of 4 platters, 10 serving pieces including a tureen with under plate and cover, 2 round covered vegetables, 3 open vegetables, 3 oval covered vegetables, and a sauce boat. All handles are in the form of elephant heads. The feet, cup and lid handles have an Asian motif. The pattern appears to be ivy in brown tones on a cream background with gold rims.
