421. Coin Silver German Presentation Chalice & Cover, dated in the German inscription 1843, “Presented to Raphael Rosenthal for his service to the German community in Posin by his co-workers. Life is like a chalice, we all mix our own drink & what you have mixed yourself you drink out of this cup to our health and with the greatest of thanks,” 15 1/4” tall with the cover, hallmarked on outside of base, “blau, sla, Posin”, mark (not decipherable), split where cup meets shaft, slight tilt to base. Provenance: A Dublin NH collection.

422. Hester Bateman Cruet Set Holder, coin silver base with scrolled handles & round holders for 5 castor jars (missing), 12 1/4” long, hallmarked on the bottom, “HB,” circa 1781, one side is armorial engraved with a raised arm & sword. Provenance: A New Hampshire collection.
