504A. A Good Retrieve
- Ripley, A. Lassell. Watercolor. Signed and dated lower left:
A. Lassell Ripley 1939. Picture shows a chocolate Labrador retriever
delivering a bobwhite quail to his master's hand while another Labrador
retriever looks on. Wonderful brilliant paint quality in perfect
condition. Size: 24.5" by 31.5" (frame) and 14.5" by
21.25" (image).
519A. Decoy.
Small hand carved brown painted working decoy. Length: 9.5".
605A. Fly tying box. Absolutely wonderful hand-made fly tying box
containing a huge assortment of hooks, fly tying material, feathers, tinsel,
hair, etc. plus a vise and a copy of "Professional Fly Tying
Manuel" by George Leonard Herter, 1951.
605B. Tackle box.
Great metal tackle box containing a very large assortment of miscellaneous
tackle including a Shakespeare "Classic" 1972 bait casting reel in
excellent condition in a Shakespeare "Sportcast 1973" box, a
Ward's Precision fly reel, various lines, leader kits, hooks, spinning
lures, swivels, ferrules, line guides, hooks, etc.
605C. Firearm. Holland & Holland, London. 12 gauge double
barrel shotgun. 30"barrels. 2 ½" chambers. Double triggers.
Length of pull: 14 ½". Beautiful Purdey style rose and scroll
engraving. Well figured wood. Sir Joseph Whitworth steel barrels. Weight: 6
lbs. 14 oz. In leather case with maker’s label.
605D. Wonderful pair of dog shadow boxes. English, ca. 1860. Dogs
are chromolithographs in raised relief. One is an English pointer, the other
a mastiff. Size: 13" x 16" (frame).
605E. Parker gun catalog. 1975 limited edition facsimile of the
only 1895 Parker showroom catalog known to exist. Shows all models in almost
full scale including beautiful engraving patterns. Size: 19 ½" x
8".
607A. Firearm. Weatherby Patrician II Ducks Unlimited semi-automatic
shotgun. 12 gauge 3-inch magnum. Full choke. 29" barrel. Beautiful
wood. In original DU/Weatherby hard travel case.
607B. Firearm. Fox Model B double-barreled shotgun. Made by Savage Arms
Corporation. 12 gauge. 2 ¾" chambers. 28" barrels. Extractors.
Chokes: both modified.
607C. Firearm. George Hinton & Sons, Taunton, England. Double-barreled
shotgun. 20 gauge. 28" barrels. 2 ½" chambers lengthened to
3". Extractors. Chokes: left – modified; right – cylinder.
607D. Leather "violin" type shotgun case. Lined with green felt
(needs replacing). W.W. Greener, Birmingham & London label. This type of
case is quite rare. Length: 33".

English, 20th century. Signed and dated ’67. Watercolor or
heavily hand colored print. Believed to be the same two dogs as in the
previous lot. Size: 27" x 30 ½" (frame); 16" x 21"

627A. The Trout Fisherman – Watkins, H. Watercolor. 15 5/8" x
19 ½" (frame); 8 ½" x 11 ¾" image.
637A. Power horn carved with various designs and the date "1862",
length 13", together with a brass and copper powder flask marked
"Colt’s Patent", length 9".

Franchi semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. 27" barrel.
Ventilated rib. 2.75" chambers. Modified choke.
Action engraved with game scenes. Excellent condition.
640B. Firearm. US model 1898 Krag rifle. Has been fully
sporterized. Caliber: 30-40 Krag. 24" barrel.

Schmeckenbecher cuckoo clock. Painted wood. Game scene decorated with
deer head, game bird, hare, guns, etc. Clock size: 27" by
18".
