501        Mauser P.08, Luger, marked “byf”, 41” in Cal. 9mm. All matching numbers including aluminum base of magazine.  Serial #2975s Waffen marked with “655” on receiver, additional Waffen marks on the magazine.  Checkered black plastic grips. 98% bluing intact showing only very slight holster wear and a drag mark from the safety selector.  Butt is machined for butt stock and receiver accepts lanyard.  Estimate $1500 to $2000
502        “Mauser 1939” Factory marked German Nazi Police issue P.08 Luger.  All matching serial numbers except for aluminum base of magazine which is a later but correct police issue with the police eagle “C” magazine (serial # on magazine is 1775),  Haenel Schmeisser patent marking on right side of magazine body.  Pistol has the sear safety. .  Serial #2292w.  Checkering on grips is sharp with only light wear located where held by the hand. 98% of bluing is intact showing only very slight holster wear and one rub mark on the base of butt just forward of mag-well opening.  Butt is machined for butt stock and receiver accepts lanyard.  Estimate $2500 to $3000
503        “S/42, 1938” marked German military issue P.08 Luger in virtually unissued condition.  99% of bluing with only the vaguest of holster wear and one rub mark just above the take down lever.  Checkering on wood grips is sharp and shows virtually no wear.  Serial #5420c, all numbers are matching including aluminum base of the magazine.  Estimate $1500 to $2000
504        “byf, 41” marked, Mauser  German Military issue P.08 Luger.  All numbers match including black plastic base of magazine. Bluing is 98% showing only very light holster wear.  Checkering on wood grips is sharp with just the slightest of handling wear.  Serial #2678ku.  All numbers are matching including the Bakelite base of the magazine.  Unknown significance of “ku” suffix. Our best guess is that a small number of Lugers known to have been assembled at Neuengamme concentration camp for the SS and that “ku” indicates Konzentrationlager-Ubungsteile.  Rare pistol.  Estimate $2500 to $3000
505        Model 1896, “Broom handle” Mauser in 7.63 caliber.  Receiver impressed “Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A. Neckar”. Serial #304685.  All serial numbers match. Pistol is equipped with the 1000 meter site. Excellent condition, correct but non matching detachable stock/ holster, serial #890.  Pistol is in excellent over all condition and comes with original capture certificate. This pistol as well as lot #564 both came from the same German General at the end of the war, possibly General Wenck who surrendered on May 1st 1945 at the Elb river.  Captain Deans XIII Corps is believed to have been at this same spot and it was Dean who obtained these two pistols.  Both pistol were purchased directly from Captain Dean in 1970.  Dean was an alcoholic at the time and could not remember who the General was. 506        “SVW, 45”, German military issue Mauser P.38, serial #6032e.  1945 manufacture.  Nazi military issue.  All numbers matching.  So called Gray Ghost. Pistol is in excellent condition as are its black plastic grips. Phosphate receiver with blued barrel.  Last of the Nazi P.28’s.  Very rare without French assemble star on slide.  10,500 similar guns were produced. Estimate $800 to $1200
507        Walther PPK in 7.65 m/m, serial #383629k. Blue anodized alloy (Dural) finish about 98% intact showing only slight wear on the sharp edges and at rear of slide.  Plastic grip is cracked at screw hold approximately ¼ inch (see photos).  Total production of Dural frame PPK’s is estimated at 1500 pistols.  Jan Still notes in “Axis Pistols”  that only 12 Dural frame PPK’s have been identified in collections….”  Estimate $1000 to $1400
508        Walther PPK, in 7.65 m/m.  Postal Police (branch of the SS) issue.  “D.R.P” marked on left side of receiver. Very rare marking on a PPK. Serial #912356.  Approximately 96% of bluing intact, showing light holster and handling wear.  Plastic grip cracked at screw hole on both sides of raised round nub with an additional surface crack on the left grip just behind the “Walther” banner (approximately 3/4” long) and a small chip out of grip just above the “L” in “Walther”.  Estimate $1800 to $2200
509        Rare Walther PP in 7.65 m/m.  Serial #140289P, front of grip strap is stamped “SA der NSDAP Gruppe Hansa”.  This rare SA pistol is in excellent condition with approximately 99% of its bluing intact, showing only very slight holster wear.  Black plastic Walther grips and magazine finger support are also in excellent condition.  This pistol also includes its original “SA” logo, dark brown holster.  Estimate $4000 to $6000
510      Walther K43 semi-automatic sniper rifle in 7.92 m/m (8 x 57mm).  Serial #6401a.  Rifle is mounted with a ZF-4 scope (serial numbered 13568), scope mount (numbered 6227), sling and includes two ‘aye’ marked magazines. Rifle is in excellent condition showing very little use.  Wear to bluing on trigger guard.  This rifle was a Veteran bring back and is in as liberated condition.  Rifle has all matching serial numbers.  Receiver code “qve 45” A rare all original rifle.  Estimate $4000 to $5000
511      Rare 1945 manufactured, Konigsberg Arsenal M1914  made while under German control. Slide is Waffen marked with the Nazi eagle above inspector marks.  Black phosphate finish is in excellent condition and about 99% intact showing only very slight handling wear (see photos).  Serial # 30049.  All numbers match except for trigger which is factory marked “.050”, just a single digit off and the pistol probably left the factory this way.  Pistols were ordered by the German Government in November of 1943 and delivered April 23rd 1945.  The serial number range was 30045 through 30125 (This gun’s number indicates it was part of that shipment).  A truly rare pistol.  Estimate $4000 to $5000
512      US Military Issue Colt Manufactured M1911A1 .  Manufactured by “Colts PT. FA .MFG CO, Hartford, CT. U.S.A”, “United States Property No 1091879”.  Phosphate finish approximately 98% intact, excellent condition showing virtually no wear.  Grips in excellent condition as well.  Estimate $1100 to $1300

513      US M1 Garand Carbine, .30 Cal with original sling. Manufactured by “Springfield Armory”. Serial #  746194.  Phosphate (Parkerized) finish approximately 98% intact, rifle is in excellent condition. Stock is excellent except for a chip just behind right rear of magazine floor plate and a crack in the lower stock just forward of the receiver by the barrel (see photos).   Estimate $2500 to $3000

514      Waffen marked Polish Radom factory P.35 manufactured while under German control.  Caliber is 9mm, slide impressed “F. B. Radom VIS Mod. 35 Pat. Nr. 15567”, “P.35(p)”.  Waffen marked on slide, and both sides of receiver with the eagle over W8A77, eagle with swastika etc.  See photos.  Serial #K6883.  In excellent condition this pistol retains approximately 97% of its bluing, showing light holster wear, handling wear and loss of blue from beneath the hammer drop lever.  Several small chips off of bottom of left grip panel and one on bottom of right grip panel.  Estimate $700 to $900
515      Waffen marked Polish Radom factory P.35 manufactured under German control. This pistol exhibits a few variations in manufacturing compared to the P.35 lot#14.  The trigger is made differently and the thumb activated safety has been omitted completely (see photo).  Caliber is 9mm and condition is excellent with 99% of its bluing intact showing very light holster wear and handling color.  Waffen marked on one side of slide and both sides of receiver with a stylized eagle over 77, the eagle with Swastika etc.   Serial #C4818 Estimate $700 to $900
516      CZ of Czechoslovakia , German Military Issue Model 27. Slide impressed “fnh Pistole Modell e 27, Kal. 7,65”. Waffen marked on top of slide, and on barrel with an eagle and swastika and stamped on the receiver with stylized eagle over “WaA76”.  Pistol is in excellent condition and retains 99.5% of its bluing.  Left side grip has a small chip at the front of the mag well otherwise pistol is in excellent condition.  Serial #277654, 1943.  All numbers match.  Estimate $700 to $900  
517      CZ of Czechoslovakia , German Military Issue Model 27. Manufactured under German control.  Slide impressed  “Pistole Modelle 27, Kal. 7,65”.  Top of slide impressed “Bohmische Waffenfabrik A.G. in Prag” top of slide and side of receiver stamped  with the stylized eagle and “WaA76”, Barrel impressed with an eagle and swastika.  Pistol is in excellent condition with 99.8% of its bluing and the grips are in excellent condition except for a small chip at the very base of the right hand grip at the front by the mag-well.  Serial #22513, 1942.  All numbers match.  Estimate $700 to $900
518      FN of Belgium pistol model 1935 in cal. 9mm, standard German military issue. Slide impressed “Fabrique Nationale D’Armes de Guerre, Herstal Belgique” and “Browning’s Patent Depose”. Slide and receiver stamped with the stylized eagle over “WaA140”. Slide, receiver and barrel stamped with the eagle over swastika.  Pistol is in good to very good condition and retains approximately 97% of it’s bluing.  Showing only slight holster wear and some pitting on the slide and take down lever, the very front of receiver as well as inside of barrel.  A few dings to the left side walnut grip.  Serial #90669a, all numbers match.  Estimate $800 to $1000
519      FN of Belgium pistol model 1935 in cal. 9mm, standard German military issue. Slide impressed “Fabrique Nationale D’Armes de Guerre, Herstal Belgique” and “Browning’s Patent Depose”. Slide and receiver stamped with the stylized eagle over “WaA140”. Slide, receiver and barrel stamped with the eagle over swastika.  Pistol  is in very good condition retaining approximately 96% of it’s bluing but showing several slight dings and scratches along with its light holster wear.  Grips are of black plastic.  Casing imperfections that look like pitting on the slide lock/take down lever.  Serial #198621, All numbers match.  Estimate $800 to $1000
520      Sauer Model M38H Nazi Police issue pistol in 7.65mm.  Slide impressed “J. P Sauer & Sohn, SUHL, Cal. 7, 65” and “Patent” on the opposite side. Stamped with German commercial eagle over “N” on rear of receiver and the Nazi Eagle with swastika and the letter “C” the Police acceptance stamp on the forward left side portion of the trigger guard.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 99% of its bluing.  Black plastic grips.  Serial #406927.  Estimate $500 to $700
521      Mauser model M98K  in cal. 7.92mm, bolt action rifle with laminate stock and original leather sling.  Top or receiver impressed ‘byf”, ‘43’.  Rife is in very good condition through out and retains approximately 85% of its bluing.  Serial #2825f, all numbers match except butt plate is impressed “brg”.  Waffen marked throughout. See photos.  Estimate $1200 to $1500
522      Mauser Works model DSM 1934B, German commercial bolt action “Deutshes Sportmodell” cal. 22 L.R.  training rifle styled after the M98K.  With solid wood stock and leather sling.  Rifle is in excellent condition retaining approximately 97% of its bluing.  Serial #44113, all numbers match.  See photos for other marks.  Estimate $800 to $1200
523      Astra of Spain model 600 pistol in cal. 380 ACP.  Spanish contract gun made for the German military with original holster.  Pistol is in excellent condition and retains approximately 99% of its bluing.  Waffen marked with stylized eagle over “WaA125” (?) just above grip safety.  Serial #8759, all numbers matching.  Checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition as well.  .  Estimate $800 to $1000
524      Astra of Spain model 300 pistol in .38 ACP.  Spanish contract gun made for the German military. Pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 99% of its bluing.  Checkered walnut grips are excellent as well.  Waffen marked with stylized eagle over “WaA251” just above grip safety. 525      Walther Model  PP German Military Issue pistol in cal. 7,65mm.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 97% of its bluing showing only light holster and handling wear.  Waffen marked on slide and frame with stylized eagle over “WaA359”.  Serial #235439p with all numbers matching.  Estimate $1200 to $1500
526      Mauser model HSc German commercial pistol in cal. 7,65mm.  This is the first variation issued to German police and is stamped on the bottom side of the trigger guard on the right side with a stylized eagle over “N” and , front on the opposite side with an eagle and swastika beside an “L”.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 99.5% of its bluing and excellent condition walnut grips.  Serial #756475, all numbers matching. Estimate $600 to $800
527      FEG of Hungary, German Military Contract pistol Model 37 in Cal. 7,65mm. Luftwaffe issue pistol with vertical line serrated walnut grips. Slide is stamped “jhv 41” and also with an eagle over a swastika.  The top left side of the trigger guard is stamped with a stylized eagle over “Wa59?).  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 98% of its bluing.  Grips are excellent with just a rub mark or two. Serial #17549, all numbers are matching. . Estimate $800 to $1000
528      Walther P.38, German Military issue, marked “ac” over “43” on side of the slide.  Pistol and dark brown Bakelite grips are in excellent condition with approximately 98% of its bluing intact, just showing light wear on the front grip strap from handling and very slight holster wear.  Waffen marked on the slide and frame with the stylized eagle over “358” and again on the slide with an eagle above a swastika.  Magazine is stamped three times with the stylized eagle over “359”.  Serial #8685e, all numbers are matching. . Estimate $1200 to $1500
529      Mauser P.38, German Military issue, marked “byf” over “43” on the side of the slide. Waffen marked on receiver and slide with the stylized eagle over “135” and additionally on the slide with the eagle over swastika.  Magazine is stamped with eagle over swastika and “WaA135”.  Pistol is in excellent condition with 99% of its bluing intact.  Grips are of black Bakelite and the right grip panel has a hairline crack just behind the trigger that stops just before the horizontal grip separation.  See photos.  Serial #4721f, all numbers are matching.  Estimate $800 to $1000
530      FN of Belgium Model 1922 for the German Commercial market.  This pistol has no military acceptance stampings. Cal. 7,65mm.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 98% of its bluing showing just light holster wear at its muzzle. 531      FN of Belgium model 1922 in Cal. 7,65mm manufactured under German control.  Pistol and checked wooden grips are in excellent condition.  Approximately 98% of bluing remains showing just light holster wear at the muzzle and slight handling wear to the back strap and front strap of the grip.  Serial #56538b, all numbers are matching. Slide and receiver are both Waffen marked with eagle over “WaA140” and with the eagle over swastika.  Estimate $400 to $600

533      High Standard of New Haven Connecticut USA “Hi-Standard Model “B” in .22 caliber long rifle.  Pistol is in very good to excellent condition retaining approximately 98% of its bluing, showing very light holster wear at the muzzle and sides of the barrel and light handling wear on the front and back strap of the grip.  Black Bakelite (?) “HS” logo grips with one blemish on the left grip below and to the right of the “HS” logo.  Scratch on slide just in front of “HI” and a few very slight scratches on the right side of the receiver and a one quarter inch nick on barrel.  Barrel measures 5.25 inches at receiver. With original holster. Serial #51355, 1940 manufacture. Estimate $400 to $600
 
534      FN of Belgium Model 1905FN in Cal. 6,35mm (.25acp).  Vest pocket pistol is in very good condition retaining approximately 97% of its bluing showing light holster and handling wear.  With original holster, 2nd magazine, and original capture certificate.  There are two spots of light pitting on the left rear of slide and on flat of safety lever (see photos).  Hard rubber “FN” logo grips are in very good condition with one “Bubble” pock mark on right grip on ridge of logos oval.  Serial #519496.  German Army Officer’s personal side arm.  WWII capture taken from German Officer in 1945 in Germany near the Czech border.  German was observing US infantry and was surprised from behind and disarmed by R. Chenez.  German became a POW of the US outfit he was observing.  Capture certificate included.  Estimate $300 to $500
535      Walther Model 9, in Cal. 6,35mm German Commercial market vest pocket pistol in excellent condition.  Pistol retains approximately 99% of its bluing.  Showing very slight handling wear on sharp edges.  Walther logo dark brown Bakelite grips are in excellent condition and only the right side enamel and brass button which reads “6,35” is chipped at both key holes.  Top of slide engraved “Specially made for Chas. A. Heyer & Co., NAIROBI”.  Surface of slide shows some very slight scratches and dings probably from pocket carry with coins etc.  Serial #603639.  Estimate $600 to $800
536      ORTGIES of Germany, Commercial market pistol in Cal. 6,35mm.  Pistol is in very good to excellent condition retaining approximately 98% of its bluing.  Smooth walnut grips with brass logo inserts are in very good to excellent condition.  Unfortunately there is a ½” fissure in the slide on the right side where the slide meets the very front of the receiver (see photos).  Serial #70553  Estimate $300 to $500
537      “BSW Suhl, Mod. W 625 B”, “KAL .22 Long Rifle” , SA training rifle with leather sling.  This German commercial rifles walnut stock is impressed with the “SA” logo surrounded by a circle which reads “Gruppe Kurpfalz”.  Rifle is in very good to excellent condition retaining approximately 97% of its bluing showing handling wear on the obvious locations.  Solid walnut stock has some nice tiger stripping showing in the forearm and dings and scratches from range use (see photos).  Serial #161662.  Estimate $1200 to $1400
538      Czechoslovakian Mauser made during the German occupation.  Nazi variation of the Czech. V2-24 service rifle.  Top of receiver is impressed “Dou 41”.  Rifle is in very good to excellent condition retaining approximately 98% of its bluing but the trigger guard has been dented in but not creased.  Solid walnut stock shows dings and scratches from use or storage but is otherwise in very good to excellent condition.  Serial # 8792b Waffen marked and serial numbered on stock, receiver and bolt handle.  All numbers on stock and rifle are matching.  Estimate $2000 to $3000

539      “U.S. M1911A1 U.S. Army” caliber .45 ACP.  Pistol is stamped “United State Property No. 1276053” manufactured by “Ithaca Gun Co., Inc. Ithaca NY”, with arsenal acceptance mark.  This US military pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 99% of its phosphate parkerized surface with only a scratch here and there (see photos) showing slight wear to only the high edges.  Excellent condition checkered brown plastic grips.  1944 Manufacture with a Colt marked barrel.  Estimate $1200 to $1600
540      Walther commercial Model PP in caliber 7,65mm (.32ACP).  This late war Nazi Police issue Model PP is in excellent condition retaining approximately 99% of its bluing and with excellent condition “Walther” logo press checkered walnut wood grips.  Waffen marked with the stylized eagle over swastika beside the letter “F”.  A scratch runs vertically down the left side of the receiver (see photos).  Serial #361280p.  Estimate $800 to $1000
541      Walther commercial Model PPK in caliber 7,65mm.  This Nazi Police issue pistol is in excellent condition retaining 98% of its bluing showing light holster wear around the muzzle and fore grip.  A single spot of pitting can be seen on the right side of the slide near the muzzle (see photos).  Brown marbled Bakelite checkered grips with “Walther” logo are both cracked at the screw hole with the right grips crack extending into the grip approximately ¾ of an inch.  Waffen stamped with the eagle and swastika beside the letter “C” and a rare version with a serial number over one million without a suffix letter.  Serial #1005019.  Estimate $800 to $1000
542      CZ of Czechoslovakia Model 27 in Kal. 7,65mm. manufactured under German control.  This German military issue pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 99.8% of its bluing. “CZ” logo brown Bakelite checkered grips are chipped on both sides at forward bottom of magazine well and a hair line crack can just be seen at the very bottom only of the left grip (approximately ¼ inch long).  Serial #347187, 1944.  Waffen marked with eagle over “WaA76” on slide and an eagle over swastika on top of the slide.  Estimate $700 to $900
543      CZ of Czechoslovakia Model 27 in Kal. 7,65mm. manufactured under German control.  This standard military issue pistol is in excellent condition retaining 99.8% of its bluing.  “CZ” logo checkered brown Bakelite grips are in excellent condition except for one small chip off of the very bottom of the right grip at the front of the mag well.  Serial #20745, early 1941.  Waffen stamped with eagle over “WaA78” on receiver and top of the slide.  Estimate $700 to $900
544      FN of Belgium model 1922 in caliber 7,65mm manufactured under German control.  Pistol is in very good plus condition.  The only issue is some very light pitting on the right side of the slide (see photo).  Waffen stamped on slide and receiver with eagle over “WaA140” and stamped with the eagle over swastika on the barrel, slide and receiver.  Pistol appears to have been re-blued and checked walnut grips are in excellent condition.  Serial #54341a, all numbers are matching.  Estimate $400 to $600

546      FN of Belgium Model 1935 in 9mm.  Standard German military issue manufactured while under German control.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 97% of its bluing showing light holster and handling wear.  Checkered walnut pistol grips are also in excellent condition.  Waffen marked on slide and receiver with the eagle over “WaA140” and eagle over swastika.  Barrel slide and receiver are marked with eagle over swastika.  Serial #78687a, all serial numbers are matching.  Estimate $800 to $1000

547      USA semi-automatic M1 Carbine in .30 cal manufactured by Saginaw Steering Gear (Division of General Motors Corp).  Barrel Date “8/43” (Buffalo Arms).  This is an early and all original WWII rifle complete and as issued with all correct early and original Saginaw parts including the stock.  Web sling is original WWII. Rifle is in excellent condition retaining 99.5% of its phosphate Parkerizing.  Walnut stock is also in excellent condition with just a few dings and dents from storage (see photos).  Reportedly was a WWII US Navy issued rifle and was removed from a Navy oil tanker during the war. Estimate $1600 to $2000

548      Mauser M98K Bolt Action in cal. 8 X 57mm (7.92mm) German military issue.  Rifle is in very good plus condition retaining approximately 78% of its bluing but bore is slightly rough, not terrible but not shiny, still serviceable.  Laminated wood stock is in excellent condition as is the leather sling. Top of receiver is stamped “42, 1940” for the Mauser Werke AG.  Serial #2065ff, all numbers are matching.  Waffen stamped throughout with eagle over “655”, eagle over “WaA655” and with the eagle over swastika.   Estimate $800 to $1000

549      Mauser P.38 pistol impressed on left of slide “byf” over “44”, 1944 manufacture.  German military issue, this pistol is in excellent condition  retaining 99.5% of its bluing.  Dark brown Bakelite grips are in excellent condition.  Waffen marked on receiver, slide and magazine with the eagle over “WaA135” and additionally on the slide with the eagle over swastika. 550      Spreewerk P.38 pistol impressed on slide “cvq”. Serial #a6447, manufactured in March of 1945. Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 99% of its bluing.  The black Bakelite grips are in excellent condition as well. Waffen stamped on slide and receiver with eagle over “88”, additionally slide is stamped with eagle over swastika.  Magazine is stamped with eagle over “88”.  Serial #a6447, all numbers are matching.  Estimate $800 to $1000
551      Spreewerk P.38 pistol impressed on slide “cyq”.  Serial #5607i, manufactured in November 1943.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 98% of its bluing showing only very slight holster wear on the very front of the receiver and very light handling wear on the fore grip.  Very dark brown Bakelite grips are also in excellent condition.  Waffen stamped on slide and receiver with eagle over “88” and additionally stamped on the slide with eagle over swastika.  Magazine is stamped with eagle over “88”.  All numbers are matching. 552      Walther Model PP in cal. 7,65mm.  German late war commercial production.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 98.5% of its bluing and showing just very slight holster wear.  “Walther” checkered logo grips are slightly darkened at the high points but are otherwise in very good condition.  Serial #321147p”, all numbers are matching.  Estimate $600 to $800
553      Nazi military issue p.38, in very good condition with original hard shell holster. Slide is marked, “cyq” and impressed twice with stylized eagle over “88” and Nazi eagle over swastika, same markings above trigger guard. Pistol retains approximately 95% of its original bluing, holster & handling wear in the usual places. Slide has some value pitting on each side, which may be from manufacturing, as this pistol exhibits all the hallmarks of rapid production. Pistol grip is a nice leather brown color & in very good to excellent condition. Hard shell holster shows battle wear and is in good condition with a field repair to one belt loop (replaced with military canvas). Holster is impressed with, “dta” over “42” and “P.38” and is waffen marked with the Nazi eagle over swastika over, “Wa195.” German owner’s name is written in ink on inside of holster flap (see photos). 554      German military issue FN model 1922, manufactured under German control. This M1922 is Waffen marked on its slide and receiver with the Nazi eagle over swastika and on the trigger guard with an “M”. Condition is excellent and pistol retains approximately 96% of its bluing showing high holster wear, mostly around its muzzle and on the high points forward of the trigger guard. The slide shows very slight wear and its bluing at the wear points is displaying nice blue-brown patina. Early leather holster is in good condition and is adorned with the pre-war SS skull with crossed bones, (see photos). This pistol was reportedly taken from a Panzer tank crew member and includes its spare magazine. Reverse of holster in impressed, “1389.” Serial #58204, all numbers are matching. 555      STEYR German Model M.95 Mannlicher carbine in cal. 8 x 56R. Nazi Mauser military acceptance mark on right side of stock.  SS totenkopf stamped in underside of stock behind trigger guard.  Reworked by Mauser after the 1938 Austrain Anschluss possibly for issue to reserve member of the SS totenkopfverbande serving as guards at Ravensbrueck Concentration camp.  WaA63 was the Waffenamt coder for Mauser.  In 1938/39 SS weapons had to be produced through the military.  Rifle receiver is serial numbered 2775A.    Estimate $2000 to $2500

557      Mauser Model M1934 in cal. 7,65mm (.32ACP).  A German commercial market handgun.  This pistol is one of the first M1934 pistols to be stamped with the eagle “N” proof mark.  Late 1939 or 1940 manufacture. In excellent condition.  This “Mauser” logo arm retains approximately 95% of its bluing showing light holster and handling wear only.  The checkered walnut grips have darkened slightly and the left front grip has a tiny chip at the front of the mag-well.  Serial #577676, all serial numbers match. 563      “Manufacture D’Armes Des Pyrenees Hendaye” manufactured in France under German control.  Slide is also impressed “7,65 Court 9 Coups “Unique””.  This is also known as the “Unique Kreigs-Modell”.  Pistol is in excellent condition retaining 94% of its bluing and two small spots of pitting on the slide (see photos).  Left vertically serrated black Bakelite grip is excellent while the right grip panel has 5 or 6 small nicks to the tops of a few ridges. Taken off the body of a dead German soldier near Paris in 1944 by a German Railroad engineer who then traded this gun for a block of cheese in Switzerland.  Gun obtained from Rick Allman who made the swap with the engineer.  As of 1990 Rick was living in Switzerland.  Serial #76513  Estimate $500 to $700
564      Bayard of Herstal Belgium, Model 1908 in cal. 7,65mm.  Pistol is in very good condition retaining 96% of its bluing but showing pitting predominantly on the left side of the slide, receiver and trigger (see photos).  Checkered black “Bayard” logo grips are in excellent condition.  With original holster and a copy of the original capture certificate. Serial #119099, all numbers are matching. This pistol as well as lot #505 both came from the same German General at the end of the war, possibly General Wenck who surrendered on May 1st 1945 at the Elb river.  Captain Deans XIII Corps is believed to have been at this same spot and it was Dean who obtained these two pistols.  Both pistol were purchased directly from Captain Dean in 1970.  Dean was an alcoholic at the time and could not remember who the General  was.  Estimate $300 to $500

Southport Conn., USA” Rifle is in excellent condition (plus) with the only loss of blue being very slight wear to the butt plate from sitting in a rifle rack. High gloss walnut stock set is in excellent condition as well showing no wear what so ever except for an occasional minute scratch or very small ding.  Rifle appears to have been fired very little.  Serial #180-00887.  This Ruger Mini 14 is from the very first year of production.  Estimate $800 to $1200

572      Limited edition Smith & Wesson Model 442 in .38 caliber, the “Lady Smith” with factory error.  About 10 of these Lady Smith revolvers left the factory and were recalled as soon as the error was brought to the attention of Smith & Wesson.  This limited edition was scroll engraved on the receiver and cylinder and the grips back strap reads “Women of the NRA”.  The Engraving error was on the cylinder and reads “Second Ammendment Defender of Freedom”, The error being that “Amendment” is spelled with 2 “m” ‘s rather than one.  Smith & Wesson representatives were insistent that this revolver be returned but this savvy collector decided to keep his.  Only about 10 of these “error” revolvers exist.  Serial #056.  Revolver is in excellent condition.  The high gloss bluing showing vague drag marks on the cylinder.  Grips are of faux ivory, comes in velvet lined mahogany presentation case, with NRA acid etched glass windowed lid.  Estimate $800 to $1000
