A fossilized inuit Harpoon head, Inuit, Thule culture, C. 1000 - 16000; Alaska

The harpoon point pierced just below the head for attachment of the main cord, the reverse with carved recess to attach it to a larger spear, remains of old fiber. Beautiful color and desirable size. L. 3 3/4"
