Silas Parsons, Swanzey, NH (1773-1859) Tall Clock, A cherry case having an arched bonnet with fluted columns and brass capitals, the waist with fluted quarter columns and brass capitals, applied bracket base probably replaced, painted iron face with seconds hand, calendar dial and clearly signed "Silas Parsons", a rare and hard to find NH clock maker, 87" tall including finial, original wooden pendulum, shaft broken in three places, comes with two keys and old sand filled tin weights, center finial replaced but part of original comes in bag, old refinished case, E19thC, clock has not been run for years so needs cleaning.
