Mask in the form of a bushcow or buffalo with target-like concentric circle eyes. Remains of black, white and red pigments; well balanced composition. Excellent signs of age and traditional use.

Provenance: Julius Carlebach, c.1958, thence to his estate and his widow, Josefa Carlebach; a private NY collector, the Gelbard Collection.
