Wooden Carved Netsuke of a Shishi resting on a gourd, nice detail with baleen eyes, nice patina on fruit wood, signed, 1 1/2" long, slight chips on bottom appears to have been wood imperfection. Provenance: From the John C. Reilly, 1883-1935, Jr. collection. He purchased Henry A. Ramsden's Japanese collection who was in partnership with Japanese coin dealer Jun Kobayagawa of Yokohama.
