The Personal Scrap Book of Don Dickerman (1895-1981) spanning his earliest enterprises at #133 Washington Place in Greenwich Village, NY where he first opened a tea room around 1916 in which to display his very own "hand painted wooden toys and other items." Don soon converted a basement room of the 3 story building into a "Pirates Den" and from this moment on Don Dickerman began his very successful career as one of Americas most innovative and ground breaking "pirate" restaurateurs.
