Okimono Seated Mammoth Ivory Buddha, fine carved seated figure set on a lotus base with a raised (MOP?) dot on his forehead, 3" tall, Meiji Period or possibly earlier with a fine old yellowed surface, character signed on its underside. Fluoresces to purple under backlighting indicating mammoth ivory. Provenance: From the John C. Reilly Jr. collection.
